Good point, thanks for the reminder. I’ll do the same. I may write in Haley Barbour.
How inspiring to run a campaign knowing that you are mainly are getting votes because your voters hate Hillary.
Exactly. What’s the good of voting for someone just because they have an “R” after their name, when they openly, actively, oppose everything in which I believe? That’s for lemmings with no principles and no thoughts of their own. If amnesty ever passes, we can forget everything else anyway-the ‘rats will have a lock on Washington.
Point taken.
Good summary.
Any chance those in attendance at CPAC will turn their backs on John McCain when he speaks?
“I will never vote for the man...even in the face of Hillary.”

Don’t stay home, write-in for the Presidential candidate, and vote for good Republicans down ticket.
I hope the attendees will follow through on their plan to each give him a head of lettuce with a note attached saying “No scamnesty”, and things of that sort.
The Democrats, Liberal MSM and the punditry just love it.
The “McCainamania” that’s been going on for nearly 10 years hasn’t been about McCain as a “maverick,” attracting “centrists” or the MSM likeing McCain for president.
It’s been about marginalizing conservatives and stopping the conservative movement.
And, they finally see it happening.
No matter what happens; conservative splitting their votes, a narrow McCain victory, even a Romney victory, the MSM will trumpet the end of Conservatism as a political force in this country.
After all, if we can’t defeat our number one enemy in our party, do we even matter?
Of course, once McCain is nominated, the MSM will turn on him. Once the Conservatives are taken out, they’ll go after the RINOs.
Nothing can stand in the way of the Liberal Utopia.
McCain is not different from Hillary. In addition, he has poor health and leaves the impression he is on the breaking point and might go berserk.
Read this thread. John O’Sullivan makes the best case for sitting it out if McCain is the nominatee. Its based on the immigration issue.

You’ve got a point. I couldn’t find the specific rule at the FL election website. I don’t want to leave it blank, because, this being Floriduh, if it’s close, I don’t want somebody at the county Supervisor of Elections trying to discern my intent. I did discover that the only write ins allowed in Florida have to be registered with the state before election day.
Maybe I’ll go Third Party. Any idea whom the Constitution Party is running this year?
First of all, BULL.
Second of all, while McCain might take Hillary, he'd lose to Obama. So why vote for the guy who could take Hillary if Hillary isn't going to be their candidate??
I voted today because I had other choices than McCain. If he is the nominee, I may not be voting at all in the general election.
You're being exceedingly kind. Out here in Arizona, we just think McCain is nucking futs.
Mccain can never eventually win the Presidency. His last 4 years in the Senate shows he cannot be trusted to join the rest of the party. Our party will never totally follow him and in that respect we do not have the House or Senate and will not for years. We need Mitt who I firmly believe can work with both House and Senate.
No, Bob Dole, I will not:)

They haven’t had their convention yet. Rumor has it that they will draft Ron Paul.
Ron Paul may have some ideas about foreign policy with which I vigorously disagree, but he is SOLIDLY pro-life, anti-tax, anti-crimmigrant, and pro-Constitution.
You can cast your presidential vote for him with confidence that,
1. He won’t win the election for President, and
2. It will signal the Republican establishment that they can’t force-feed us with such a distasteful candidate as McCain.
And by the way, judging from your name, I owe you my heartfelt thanks for your service to our country.
The future of my country in the hands of a strong leader that votes conservative 85% of the time,... rather than in the hands of Hill& Bubba....is worth more than your so called “conservative” principles. Get a clue and get on board to win this election.
