Justices ages: Stevens 87; Ginsbberg 74; Breyer 73; Kennedy 72; Scalia 71; Souter 68; Only one keeper in the bunch. These are the only reasons I can see for a vote for the rino.

What makes you think the RINO will appoint conservative judges? Because he said he would? LOL!

McCain is going to give a Souter or a Kennedy. He's not going to give us a conservative Supreme Court nominee. And I haven't heard him say what kind of justices he wants to nominate as President.

One reason not to. If the RINO is not defeated, they will only multiply.

Even if he had the conservatives, there is a good chance McCain will not win.

Reagan appointed Justice Kennedy.
Last I knew, Kennedy was a swing vote, not a Scalia.

The phone call:

"Ted? Hey, how are ya? Listen, I justed talked to Ginsburg. Yeah, she's stepping down. So, look, I want to avoid any trouble. I'd like to come up with a nominee that you guys won't block. Nobody wants a fight, eh? So, do you have any recommendations? Really? I thought you were on the outs with him. Oh. Well, do you think he'd want it? Okay. And you don't think Hillary would mind if I put him on the bench? Okay. Done deal."

no, but it makes some people feel better if they don’t get anything from a dem instead of not getting everything from a republican.

“At the same time, Romney and Huckabee ought to begin to note Senator McCain’s lead and urge their followers to recognize that if they cannot come back they and their followers will have to come in and join the party’s eventual nominee”....

And this is EXACTLY what is wrong with the repubican party today. I will NEVER get behind crazy lib mclame, sheeple I am not. I would rather see the republican party destroyed before I help turn it into another lib party.

Perhaps the only way to clean up the party is to start from nothing and build up. Repubicans need not apply.

I would have voted for Romney maybe, a big maybe. I will not vote for McCain and I am to the point I do not care. They are all liars and there is no difference between the 2 dims and McCain.

I am done with presidential politics until 2012 and the GOP forever unless it gets righted. I am focusing on local and state elections.

At least with McCain, we've got a chance of getting pro-life judges. With Hillbama, there's no chance.

None.

Zero.

As a Fredhead highly disappointed that McCain (a few months ago a 7% bottom of the list candidate) is going to be the nominee, I have to ask myself what can McCain do to sweeten the deal? What could he do to get the Fredheads and the Romney supporters to get out and vote for him in November? It would have to be a brilliant VP choice, and I mean brilliant.
Who on the ticket would FIRE UP Conservatives? Who on the ticket would generate discussion for weeks?

Here’s a cheerful counter:
One additional reason to not support McCain: He hasn’t dropped out & endorsed a dark horse candidate for the good of the country - instead he’s focused on his ambition instead of admitting that he has split the GOP.

The only honorable thing he can do at this point is drop out, endorse a dark horse candidate who is strongly conservative, and sincerely apologize for McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, and the Gang of 14 Betrayal. If he doesn’t, he puts his ego above the good of the country.

However, if OHitlery is elected, the RINOs in congress may actually stand up against nominations, proposals, etc. If McQueeg is elected, he gets whatever he wants from the linguini-spined Capitol.
