"After 8 years of Hillary, the country will be begging for a conservative. Maybe 4 years if they're really goofy."

I'm betting not.

A year of Nancy Pelosi hasn't made a difference and 8 years of Hillary won't either.

If you aren't part of the solution, you are a big part of the problem and I personally don't want to hear a peep out of you.

I could say the same to you.

Voting for McCain is only supporting the 'problem' in my opinion so if he wins and the country goes to hades (as it will) then I expect you to STFU because you created it.

Pookie18,
I normally am on your side, but not this time. We will just have to agree to disagree.
Sincerely,
NAPS

We're staying home because we're hoping these people will come to the forefront. The more extreme the better. After 8 years of Hillary, the country will be begging for a conservative.

I can't believe that you actually believe this!

One would think that the example of Weimar Germany, indeed, the example of Europe generally in the inter-war era, would be enough to disabuse anyone of this notion.

Now I understand why your lot are being called "suicide" voters.

Choose life!

There may be other reasons for conservatives to let the Democrats take the reins. Maybe it's for the better long-term good if they inherit the economy and then get totally swept from power in four short years(?)

We're rapidly devolving into a third world country - so maybe there's not that much to win.

At least I will go down swinging, as opposed to you sitting in your corner, thumb in your mouth, whimpering.

Is that the same one as the pro-life, WOT-prosecuting, big gov't-spending fighting, troop-loving punter?

I figure most or all of this will happen WITH a McCain presidency.

And, the Republican Party will be further degraded as a vehicle for actual conservatism for years to come, as well.

Herrrrrrrrrre it comes, children: *FEAR*

Now I ask, which name on the dolt's list hasn't enjoyed all manner of exposure *and* influence over the past 8 years, as it is?
I mean it'd be damned difficult seeing any more of those morons.
Unbelievable, pathetic, desperate *and* sickeningly predictable.

Hey fear's worked GREAT past decade selling soap to politics, unfortunately for the shills who dreamt this tack up the Liberal-Socialist-Communists have been using the shtick for decades. Hardly *original*.

Be that as it may never in a million years would I have guessed the party of "logic" would mimic the leftist scumbags; never-mind, attempting to use it against their own. Chutzpah too hits an all new low with this ploy.

Poor desperate shameless cake eating imbeciles, devoid of any semblance of principle, character, are right now redefining cannibalism!!

Apparently unbeknownst to Koolaid slurping idiots a softer, gentler cannibalism remains cannibalism, nonetheless. A classic textbook case of putting lipstick on the pig would be awfully hard to find.

HA!

I've a *message* for the establishment GOP brain-bugs responsible for the self inflicted & quite possibly life threatening wound we're now having to deal with, as well as the imps, harpies & trolls suddenly popping-up to push the nuttiest of poseurs ever upon the party faithful.

... (_X_)

Ya know, we stopped McStain & Co. from passing amnesty, even though YOU KNOW W WOULD HAVE SIGNED IT.

So, there were powerful forces in the Congress, Senate, and the President who were in favor of this crap,

and who stopped it?

We can do the same with McStain as president, and not have 3 more Ginsbergs on the SCOTUS.

I guess that depends on how long your timeline is, doesn't it?

The worse the rot, the more extreme the measures required and the longer it takes to cure it.

Either way, we're definitely screwed in the short-term (10-20 years).

“SCOTUS is a red herring.”

But it is not just SCOTUS, the next President will be appointing 200+ Federal Judges. I would of much rather have Fred, Mitt, Tancredo or heck even Rudy “gasp” make those appointments than McCain, but still if its between giving that job to Hillary, Obama, or McCain I would much rather have McCain do it.

How is not voting for an unfit cindidate sitting in the corner wimpering?

I will go and vote. I will support CONSERVATIVE cadidates.

So please, explain to me how that is not 'swinging'?

I merely posted the article, but (other than words like "spite" & "petty") agree with it. McCain was my 5th or 6th choice, but I hate to throw away the SCOTUS for the next few decades, the WOT gains, etc.

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there another thread about McCain getting money from Soros as well? If so, sounds like he has influence with the GOP too. I’m doing as the Founders intended and voting my conscience and convictions. That means no vote for the Dems and the GOP.

Regardless of party, I’ll vote for a conservative or libertarian candidate. I will NOT vote for a liberal, so McCain will have to do without my vote. I’m also looking over my local races to see who’s the most conservative candidate running.
