Hear, hear!
You have hit the nail on the head. The RINO supporters expect us to be to the Republican Party what the black caucus is to the Democrat Party: nothing more than a group of people whose support can be taken for granted, no matter how many times they spit in our eye.
Why should we vote for a party that spits on us, and then, when it realizes it needs us, condescends to patronize us?
SCOTUS is a red herring.
It’s 4(C), 4(L) and 1 swing.
There will be (probably) 2 Ls retiring. Whether it is McCain or a Dim appointing they will be replaced with 2 more Ls and the court ‘balance’ will stay as it is.
Soros has contributed big time to McCain. Not a good argument.
He is right. I have huge problems with McCain. But I am not about to let these people be in charge just so I can teach the country a lesson. I don’t believe we will get new Gubmint programs or expansion of the welfare state under McCain. And I also will not urinate on our troops. Once Hillama care is in place, its there to stay
That makes no sense. There is nothing about the early primaries that is more favorable to McCain than the other candidates. Not to mention that it wasnt the RNC’s idea to move up the dates. The RNC disqualified half the delegates won in some of the early states to DISCOURAGE their early primaries.
If....there's the rub. His past doesn't look all that encouraging if we are trusting in 'if'.
No, Camel Joe, if you don’t VOTE you’ll be pissing on a lot of graves.
If you VOTE Green Party, you’ll be wasting your vote.
If you VOTE Libertarian, you’ll be wasting your vote.
If you VOTE Democrat, you’ll be a Democrat.
I intend to VOTE. I may even stick my middle finger in some purple ink and show it to the world. But I intend to VOTE.
Flame away. I have to go to work.
Primary voters who self-identified as Democrats, Liberals, Independants......
Then I expect you to STFU as that A-List starts to take apart our "Representative Republic" and replace it with a "Peoples Republic".
If you aren't part of the solution, you are a big part of the problem and I personally don't want to hear a peep out of you.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Thought that there was more than that 1 item on the “list”...
Yes, I a can really understand how the truth can hurt.
Sorry pookie. No vote for McCain here.
I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it:
I’d rather be shot at by the enemy I face than shot in the back by our own “leader”.
“If you believe the RNC rather than the voters nominated McCain, it would help if you explained how.”
Its because the current Republican process for nominating a candidate is broken. Unless there is overwhelming enthusiasm for a candidate, there is no way we should be down to one candidate before many of us even had the chance to vote. Here in WA, we don’t vote until the 9th.
IF we were to assign delegates in the same way the Democrats do proportional it would still be neck and neck between McCain and Romney with Romney slightly ahead.
This was sent to me by my district Republicans.
What would the Republican race look like today if every state Republican party were using a proportional allocation to the candidates? That is if anyone who got 10% or more was in on the allocation depending on the percentage of the vote he/she drew? I went through all 29 states where Republicans have selected delegates and re-allocated them based on this formula. The result is quite different from what we see today. It is quite surprising no matter who you support. Only the four candidates still in the race are considered. This is laid out against the current delegate count.
Candidate.........Current....Proportional
Mike Huckabee.....176.........212
John McCain.........680.........424
Mitt Romney.........270.........431
Ron Paul................16..........35
You can add the name `John McCain’ to your “A-List”, Arnold.
