From Malkin’s blog:

CPAC is a joke. Conservative Political Action Conference? Let’s see. Conservative speakers:

John McCain – WHAT?
Ron Paul – WTH?

Is this the best CPAC can do for conservatives? Sorry, I am at a loss.

Mark Steyn I understand. There are MANY conservatives that can be given a platform that make sense.
If conservatives are going to rally to the cause of conservatives then, we should rally conservatives to the cause and not bring in a liberal in sheep clothing to rally conservatives to a liberal’s cause. Sheesh.

The Repubs in DC have torpedoed the conservative base. McCain will bury the remains when he picks someone like Rudy to be his VP.
At that point I will be inclined to say:

We deserve everything we get.

I’m not sure who you think I’m threatening. Making my case against the Democrats is now threatening here? Making my case for the most conservative possible outcome of this election is threatening? Making my case for what I think is the least damaging thing for our country is threatening?

your case is a fine one.

You know I’m a married man but I feel compelled to confess that I love Ann Coulter. I love her inside and out, up one side and down the other, I love her mind and body.

There I said it. Now I’ll wait for my wife to read it and rough me up.

How could you be so clueless and want people to think you are a conservative. You honestly think Ann would vote for hill? She was trying to wake up the ‘go along crowd’ to stop and think - the McLiar is the most liberal of all. She knows the real conservatives ‘get it’ - and hopefully the moderates ‘could’ get it. But that wasn’t the case - she gave more credit than they deserved.

You would be more joyful if Hillary won than if McCain won?

Better get used to the idea of Madam President, Hillary Clinton. - not that I like it one bit.

As you can see from this small slice of the electorate, McCain is on track to lose 30 - 34 states in a landslide defeat.

It took everything and everyone of the many broken glass republicans to re elect an incumbent, well liked President against a liberal nobody from a State filled with liberal trash in the cobalt blue NE.

- and that was by one state in a better political climate.
McCain is McToast, but he can win my one vote if he agrees to my tagline.

The so called gang of 14 fought to perserve the power of the minority party in Congress which I am glad exists today given what’s going on in the world. The dems are the ones that forced the issue to a place they had no business going. I don’t care for McCain but there are times he’s right on certain things.

I think the idea is, if McCain were to get elected, he would destroy the conservative involvement with the Republican party - as he would if not elected, and reverse any progress we've made back to a constitutional republic.

If the democrap should be elected, they will destroy the American appetite for another democrap politician for many years to come, like Jimmy Carter did - a good thing.

I know people here mostly love GWB, I’m not so inamored. I think that GWB has been largely resposible for where we find ourselves. We are at war with global jihad but he has not involved the nation in this goal, but actually told us we could help by buying stuff to keep the economy going, that I’m sorry to say is insane. It’s no wonder the people have no interest in victory, what will they loose in defeat, we have nothing personally invested. This isn’t a game where you root for the home team and niether loose nor gain if you don’t win but thats what it feels like to me.

The american don’t know what it will mean to loose, can you give me an explanation of what’s at stake.

Please don’t tell me the free world, tell me how I will be impacted. Is there any effect the jihad can have on me personally, can my country be invaded and overthrown, I don’t think so at least not quickly, maybe over 30 years.

Maybe we won’t be at the top of the food chain anymore, so what, if I,m still free.

Is England not still a great nation, they certainly are not at the top of the food chain.

If we are going to play to be on top lets stop pretending that we can win by convicing our enemys not to attack us and lets kill them all!!!

I don’t care if they will or won’t be democratic, so long as they know we will destroy them if they have the timarity to attack us, ruthlessness has it’s place.

No she is not an idiot, she is a smart women, she is just fed up. It’s understandable. I think she was being sarcastic when she said she is going to vote for Hillary. I am almost sure she won’t. It is upsetting that John McCain was allowed a cake walk, being that none of the candidates except for one would challenge him. And that with the media deciding they would rather he be the nominee. It’s upsetting, but now that McCain is the candidate the gloves will be off. It’s very frustrating, but what can you do? It is what it is.

The whole thing was a bait-and-switch scheme.

From paindealer.blogspot.com:
Ann Coulter's Newest Controversy

It's been a year since she made the "rehab" joke.

Now this.

From CNS
In a speech at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., Friday, just down the hall from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), author Ann Coulter said that the primary difference between Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Adolf Hitler was that Hitler "had a coherent tax policy."

Coulter compared a potential alliance between disillusioned conservative Republicans and Sen. Hillary Clinton to the alliance between Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin during World War II, which was formed to defeat Hitler.

"I'm not comparing McCain to Hitler," she added. "Hitler had a coherent tax policy."

I'm going to guess that no one is going to take offense to her likening Hillary to Stalin, though....

Every year she finds a way to top herself. I can hardly wait for next year.

Talk about right on the money. What would Obama be running for if he was totally white. No one would have even heard of him because he would not be a Senator to start with.
