My predecessors courageous decisions to support surge... Iraqis surged too... “awakening” movement of Iraqis themselves helped... more than 80000 civilians helping too... other experts (IED, etc) taking down the opposition... pursuing AlQ out of neighborhoods, etc.
Now going up into Mosul and defeating them there, too.
Is it too much if I hope that he announces his run for Presidency?
This is a war in many respects of ideas. Even being fought in cyberspace by alQ... much done on internet... sharing of tactics and procedures... a very new war in many ways. Extraordinary level of extremism is being practiced at a level not really seen before.

For 2012? It would be too much to ask for him now, especially when he still has a job to finish in Iraq.
