Isn’t Mansfield in DeSoto Parish? Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought that was a highly conservative and Baptist part of Louisiana.
Gap in E Baton Rouge down to 14 points. Huck picking up a little ground there. He needs to keep eating away at McCain’s lead in that parish to win.
Yes, Mansfield is in DeSoto.
Leni
You are right on all accounts and it will go heavily for Huck. The problem is DeSoto sparsely populated plus this is a closed primary for the first time in many years. Lots of conservatives are still registered as Democrats and couldn’t vote.

Obama up to 57% ... that has got to be embarrassing for the Clintons.
If Huckabee wins without 50%, is there a run off?

E Baton Rouge down to a 13 point gap. This looking better each update for Huckabee. He might just hang on for the win.
Dont know
The LA FReepers might know
Does Huck need 50% to avoid a run off ?????
YES.
If < 50%... he gets no delegates. They go to the convention.
No runoff, this is the whole show.
If no candidate gets 50% then the delegates are free to vote for their choice at the convention.
No runoffs in a presidential primary.
Hillary is tearing hair out
Bill is quite snatched bald
LOL
Ah...why are we here then? :’)
