Interesting. In at least 7 precincts, Romney is getting a surprising number of votes. Go figure.

I found that interesting as well. Huckabee isn’t doing as well as I expected, just from hearing folks say that they will vote for him.

You can never say how a person is doing or is not doing so early in the voting. Call me when the counting gets to 30% or so and then tell me how Huckabee is doing.

Hillary didn’t visit La and that didn’t go over well with the dems. She sent Bubba and something like less than 200 showed up to hear him talk.

Hard to tell much from the early numbers, but it looks like McCain’s stronger in the Catholic areas, and Huckabee in the Baptist Parishes. No real surprise there.

Probably absentee ballots that were cast back when he was still running.

We need to ping the Keyes supporter - looks like Alan is running about 7th. Trailing Curry, but ahead of Gilbert.

Thanks for the link! I read that in Louisiana the candidate who gets 50% of the vote wins the delegates as in winner takes all. But if the winner does not win by 50%, the delegates are proportioned. At least that is my understanding from what I read....if I read it right. :)

Huck’s at 48%. Around a quarter of the vote counted. Baton Rouge is still out (oops, starting to trickle in) as is Orleans.
