The Obama team is running a brilliant and professional campaign, from the design of the campaign logo to the details of the ground war.

My read is that none of the real Democratic experts want anything to do with the Hillary temper tantrums and scandals, and the best have gone to work for him.

I would suggest you confirm the rules for casting ballots and registration. Just in case the situation changes later. In my state you need to be a Republican/Demoncrat in order to case a ballot for the same. It's supposed to be a 45 day waiting period in order to register and cast a ballot although this is always ignored in demoncrat districts. Independents voted on the Republican ballot and it was estimated that 17-18% of McCain's victory was via non-republican voters.

My point is make sure you have the flexibility to change back one way or another so you'll have your options open come November.

I still harbor that with the conservative backlash building against the GOP, we are not only headed for a brokered convention, but it may hold a far different results for John McCain than the MSM would have us believe.

I only know a few liberals who support him outside of a few resigned FReepers and depressed republicans. No one intentionally supports him otherwise.

The states where Clinton leads are all in play because Obama can bury her with television ads and move the numbers.

I think any states she wins will be by less than ten percent while Obama has many states left where he will clobber her (like he did last night).

Hillary has no path to the nomination. It is all over but the screaming and blaming and lamp-throwing.

Not hard to figure out. Hillary had no choice, she had to pay the walkaround money. The ministers et al took the money, sat on their hands and voted for Obama, damning Hillary with faint praise. That is probably why the Clinton campaign is broke and Obama is flush.

I think it’s very funny that they have 2 Junior Senators with very little experience battling it out - and the guy with less experience and even fewer policy ideas is the one winning. if this guy can steal so much from Hillary with so little, then Hillary has very little chance in the general election. She thought she would walk away with it, as no serious contenders stepped up to compete with her. This no-name guy with fire in his belly and no ideas is mopping the floor with her. It’s very bizarre. Glad to see that the “no to Clinton” sentiment is strong on the other side of the isle, too. She thought it was hers for the taking. I’m glad it isn’t, but not so sure I’m going to like the outcome anyway.

Polls actully show Obama leading McCain by around 5%, and McCain leading Hillary by around 5% - though with the Obama-McCain matchup there are more undecideds. Neither matchip has any of the 3 above 50%.

Texas is an open primary state. What do Republican Texans on that day have do other than back McCain or Huck? I’m tempted to vote in my first ever Dem primary against the Clintons!

Sure she does. If she pulls in another 300 or so delegates, and all the Superdelegates, she wins. I'm fairly sure she'll get the 300 she needs. It will come down to the Superdelegates... but she'll have a very hard time trying to convince the country (and her party) to give her the nod if she walks into the convention in 2nd place.
