I wish all registered voters in Texas would vote for Obama
February 10, 2008 | Allan J. Favish

Posted on 02/10/2008 8:57:33 PM PST by AJFavish

Texas will hold its primary on March 4, 2008. People do not register as members of political parties in Texas, so on March 4th, anybody who is registered to vote, can vote for Obama. See http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/primary.shtml. With McCain already the Republican nominee effectively, why not have those who lean Republican all vote for Obama to help destroy Hillary's candidacy?

Texas will send delegates to the Democrat convention. 126 of those will be chosen in the 31 separate primaries on March 4, 2007 divided by state Senate districts. See http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/2/8/17340/43669. Republicans can help Obama get many of these 126.

Another 67 delegates will be based on the results of caucuses. Those who lean Republican and voted for Obama may be able to attend the caucuses. But I am not sure.

As I see it, better to have Obama defeat her rather than risk her becoming President in a battle with McCain.

If Hillary is Obama’s VP, she’ll become President sooner or later.

Pshh... here at UT and pretty much all over Austin all the cute chicks dig Obama. All you gotta do is repeat one of his stumps all summed up then say this is the year change blah blah blah. Easiest pick ups ever. EVER.

You and me Baby. YES WE CAN!

As for your plan... I think I’m gonna try what Mr. Jim Robinson thinks we should do as a) it’s worth a shot b) it’s his site I feel I owe it to him. c) we all know Obama isn’t gonna win this thing. Clintons are too good.

I predict after 12:00 pm EST January 20, 2011.

I want Hillary to stay as a viable candidate.

And I despise her.

Let her and HUSSEIN NObomba battle it out for as long as possible.

Read the background on Obama. He’s worse than Clinton. His cult scares me.

I think Hillary is the weaker candidate.

Anyway - Mexicans are handing over the nomination to Hillary.

Obama won both White and Black vote in CA and still got his clock cleaned.

Arizona also helped Hillary Bigtime.

All the counties bordering Mexico are now FIRMLY in LIB column.

I was surprised by Oklahama results. I wonder if the illmigrant wave has made it all the way up there.....

Totally agree, if I still lived in Texas, that is what I would do.

IMO...we should do all we can do to take her out now, I think she and Obama are both dangerous for our country.

However...I think she is both dangerous and evil it's self personified...a deadly combination.

In Washington, the rationale to vote Obama was because he could win and Hillary could not.

Barack Hussein Obama was the most liberal senator in 2007, according to National Journal's 27th annual vote ratings.

He scored an 8, yes EIGHT out of 100 on the American Conservative Union's conservative check list.

Vote for him? Vote for HIM?

I will vote March 4th, but it sure isn't going to be for some socialist pos.

Please don't drink and FReep AJ.

I am voting for Romney! And to whoever wrote this article, be informed that Hillary will be the nominee. She will be easier to beat than Messiah Obama. So stop stabbing us Republicans in the back by voting for Messiah Obama.

I’d love for you to explain why I or any other registered voter in Texas that wants to vote in the Republican Primary should give that up to vote in the democratic primary for Obama? Do you understand we have many other positions on the ballot such as Representatives, Senator, State reps/senators, Judges, District attorneys, and many other offices........

Can you explain your request? Give it your best shot.

I will vote for Obama on March 4. I will support McCain in November. McCain's quite a little scamp, but he is a much safer choice than Billary or Obama, especially with a Democratic majority in Congress.

With proportional division of delegates, it will be very hard for Obama to build more than a 100 delegate lead in February. Hillary could easily undo that in March. But if we conservatives use our primary votes to undo Billary, it may be the best use of our votes ever.

If only 30-40,000 Republicans all work together, especially in TX, OH, and PN, where Hillary has to play catch-up, Obama finishes in the lead. Even if Billary and the Supers steal it from Obama then, she will lose badly in November. I think that an Obama lead into the Convention would give the Supers the chance they've wanted to clean the Dim' Party of the trailer trash though.

You’re wrong. People ought to make SURE Hillary is the candidate to run against. Obama will get more people to vote for him than Hillary will.
