Are things in the country running so well that Congress needs to waste time and taxpayer money on this?

I was thinking the same. I even hesitated to post it but hey it dealing with Congress. No wonder they have a low perception from the public.

Between Bonds, Clemens and him, it’s going to be quite a show. Got popcorn/pretzels?

The NYT is saying Pettite is scared to confront Clemens in person on national TV. Afraid of Clemens reaction.

On a list of 1 to 10, grown men cheating when they are playing kids’ games doesn’t make the list as to what Congress needs to be dealing with.

If these gentlemen violated the law with illegal drug possession, charge them.

If they violated their contracts, sue them.

Actually, Bonds isn't part of this particular legislative show. Instead, his venue is judicial, at US District Court, to answer his grand jury indictment.

Exactly... I’m still waiting for the libs to propose a “Department of Sports Ethics.” Before you know it, Belichick will need a court order to challenge a call on the field.

I can understand that. Did Pettite rat him out?

Out of all the accused Roger is the only one denying the use of performance drugs.

If Baseball league gave up the antitrust exemption then Congress would not intervene.

I am waiting for this whole thing to end up with Clemens expressing indignation that his trusted friend would inject HGH or steroids into Clemens’ body without his knowledge or consent. “You told me it was B12!” he’ll say.

Or, he’s completely innocent of all charges.

The old Clinton defense. The only difference is slick willie had better representation. Hardin was poking everyone in the eye daring them to prove it.
