WASHINGTON (AP) --

Barack Obama has won Virginia's Democratic primary, defeating Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Obama is also hoping to capture first place in Tuesday's Democratic primaries in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Republicans are voting, too, and it looks like Mike Huckabee is making an unexpectedly strong challenge to John McCain in Virginia.

The Associated Press made its Democratic call based on surveys of voters as they left the polls.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

Personally I think the team clinton response to Louisiana's crush job, being that she understands them "proud african americans" gittin out there and doin some votin, was just about the most telling synopsis coming from a disease conditioned set of minds I've ever witnessed.

Playing one side against another times ten is bound to get you with some blowback at some time.

"only a question of how dirty she and Bill want to get at the convention"

Maybe we will finally find out which of the Democrats are closeted homos and/or pedophiles.

Information that is only contained in the FBI files ... and known by most of the MSM.

We know what we are getting with Hillary. The hatred is so far and deep for Hillary the voters have become blind. Obama is the antiChrist not Hillary.

"Republicans are voting, too,"

Oh gee! Thanks for the mention!

"The Associated Press made its Democratic call based on surveys of voters as they left the polls."

And what did the AP do for the Republicans? Take a wild guess while drooling over the Democrats?

Nah, just really don’t want to watch Rove or Fox at this particular point. Just want some numbers and am able to filter out the slant. :-)

More like tired of FNC neo-libs pandering towards liberal GOPers.

I saw one person post that they voted for Obama! WTF is that all about? Is this FR? Or some scrappleface version of FR?

Sounds like you are cheering for Obama. I prefer Hillary as the nominee over Obozo - Obozo is FAR FAR FAR LEFT liberal. He is FAR MORE DANGEROUS than Hillary. Plus, he has ties to terrorists.
At least with Hillary as nominee, we have a slight chance to beat her. But with Obozo - NO!!!

I'm not, but I loathe the Clintons with every fiber of my being, and want to see them kept out of the White House at any cost.

And I'm not as certain as some people that McCain would be able to beat Hillary very easily. I think that this is probably going to be a pretty bad year for the Republicans no matter what.

So much for the opinions of those “seasoned political analysts” who were quoted in an article posted earlier today.
