President Daniel Ortega, who led the 1979 revolution in Nicaragua, says Barack Obama's presidential bid is a "revolutionary" phenomenon in the United States.
"It's not to say that there is already a revolution under way in the U.S. ... but yes, they are laying the foundations for a revolutionary change," the Sandinista leader said Wednesday night as he accepted an honorary doctorate from an engineering university.
Ortega led a Soviet-backed government that battled U.S.-supported Contra rebels before he lost power in a 1990 election. He returned to office last year via the ballot box.

Ortega is like a communist vampire. No matter how many democratic stakes you drive thru his heart (if he has one which might be the problem), he continues to make a comeback as a “democrat”. Sort of like Hillary and Conyers and the other Stalinists in Congress.
Only the disinfectant of the sunshine of truth will destroy these communists. “Here Comes The Sun”.

Yes, it's fitting that one 'revolutionary' coming from the lineage of Lenin, Castro, Chavez, et al, should embrace one of his ideological soul brothers.........

Why don’t people just admit there Obama leftists here to stir up dissent.
Mccain is not anti-gun,he is promilitary ,prolife,etc..
Red Star Obama is anti gun, anti new media, pro fairness doctrine, pro abortion, pro partial birth abortion, pro UN,
anti military, pro illegal driver license , pro illegal drugs.
And radical socialist Daniel Ortega is sending him love letters.
Give it a rest no one is buying into the phony McCain hate anymore . Romney is supporting him now so its over !

"And we have FReepers who are going to allow a Democrat to become our President and Commander in Chief! Just frikin' great!"
NO - but we are unhappy with McCain. His VP choice will be critical. If he doesn't rally his party, he will not rally the country. What can he do? Start bringing in the party leaders, including conservatives for summits starting soon. Not public debate necessarily, but a series of powwows. Invite Huckabee.

That Obama’s plan too.
His “Change” theme is code for massive wealth redistribution.
We have people here still posting like “I am mad at McCain” when the radical left has taken over one of our major political parties !

It should, but so few people in this country are familiar with Daniel Ortega, it would scarcely register a blip. Way too many in this country are more than willing to harken in a communist revolution.
