The greatest case for a single term for John McCain will be his first term.

There will be no second term because there will be no first term. McCain will carry ten to twelve states in the fall, max.

McCain = Dukakis.

How about no McCain term instead. Rewarding the leftward push of the Democrat wing of the Republican party is no solution to the anti-conservative poison that now flourishes in the Republican ranks.

As for the Teddy Roosevelt story, there's some major differences between TR and JM: TR was a man of honor who kept his promises. McCain has clearly shown that he's not...and won't. He's sold our party out for his own self-interest before and that makes it that much easier to do the same again in the future.

I vote no term for McInsane.

With what we have now, I’d even vote not to have a POTUS for one term.

And There will be nothing stopping McCain from further ignoring the Conservative base or what we demand. He will focus completely on his joint agenda with the Democrats.

Global warming, amnesty, raising taxes to save “Mother Earth”, and with a Super majority of Democrats in both Houses, it will even be very difficult for McCain to keep our troops in the Middle East.

With open borders and 30 million illegals getting amnesty, expect a small percentage of them to be terrorists. Forget about the myth that he is “strong” on national security or our Military.

I think the theory has merit.

If we knew we could count on a single term, we would have four years to get a real American patriot into the office .. and hopefully stayed the hand of Socialism long enough to still salvage America.

Not having a President is not an option.

One of three people will be in that job:

Barack “Che” Obama
Hillary “Loathe the Military” Clinton

or John McCain.

Please choose wisely.

-

I wanted Duncan Hunter. I moved to Romney. Now: I’ll vote for McCain.

Without hesitation.

For our troops.

This is a silly idea. McCain should pick a good solid conservative running-mate and run hard against the leftist-marxist-islamist Obama. Make it a win-or-lose, fair-and-square, hard-fought campaign. Without any gimicks like promising a one-term-only.

If McCain drops the compassionate-conservative-George-Bush-agree-with-everybody style of “reaching out” and “concensus building” and runs as an American Patriot against a Treason Party Traitor, he has a chance of winning this thing.

If he doesn’t, and he probably won’t, then he will lose forty states.

I’m surprised that McCain’s doctor hasn’t told him (or maybe he did) that he is in no physical shape to be President. It’s not just age. He looks very unhealthy.

There’s not enough difference between Hillary/Obama and McCain to matter.

McCain? Just say no.

No kidding. I can't afford my taxes now, and both of them have already promised to raise taxes.
