It Is Over [Kudlow says: Hillary! is done]
corner.nationalreview.com ^ | 2-20-8 | Larry Kudlow

Posted on 02/19/2008 10:29:59 PM PST by Petronski

Please allow me a dose of hardened market realism concerning Obama's landslide victory in Wisconsin. The race is over. Hillary is finished. The Clinton Restoration is over.

President Bill Clinton's political invincibility is over. Hillary's electability is over. Obama got to the far Left faster than she did. He out organized her in the precincts. He out fundraised her. He out speechified her. He out-hustled her. He out-dressed her. He out-presidentialed her. He outdid her and he outbid her for votes, one promised government check at a time.

A 15-point margin in Wisconsin is incredible. Wisconsin is a lot like Ohio except for the wacko ultra-Left Madison college population, which is even worse that Columbus's Ohio State. But there are so many campuses in Ohio that will go for Obama that it is no matter. Think faculty voters, grimly determined for a left-wing takeover of America " from the bottom up" to use the former Saul Alinsky community organizer's phrase. As goes Wisconsin, so goes Ohio.

I have been thinking that myself. The Dem turn-out has not really been very proportional to registrations, in most states. I just hope and pray that they come back to reality....

No, it will not be easy. There are many of us ready and able to expose this empty suited commie pinko bed wetting fag.

With a principled Conservative at the helm, perhaps. But not with what we have today. McCain against Obama is like charging hell with a half empty enema bag. A fart against a veritable windstorm.

Any revelations that were to be found would have been found by now. The Clintons may be many things, but they rank among the very best at finding the dirt and using it.

Kudlow obviously hasn’t seen enough Nightmare on Elm Street, Dracula or Friday the Thirteenth movies. Freddy, Jason, Dracula — they never really die. They just bide their time until somebody comes along and unconsecrates a grave, pulls out a stake, removes a crucifix or finds a coffin floating in outer space. So too with Hillary. Obama may end the primary season with a few more delegates than her, but she’ll just wait until the slow drip drip drip of damaging Obama stories start to appear and work their magic. Come the end of August, she’ll manage to have just enough votes to win at the convention.

"Does Clinton Inc. have some really dirty dirt on Obama"

If they had dirt, I'm sure they would have throw it out there by now. The Hillary campaign seems to be reduced to yelling plagiarism. That alone tells me they are empty in their bag of tricks.

You don’t seriously think Obama is the non-partisan angel he claims to be, do you? The idea that he will put an end to partisanship is ludicrous. He is a LEFTIST, and no one is more viciously partisan than a Leftist.

I’m surprised that Hillary has been doing nothing but throwing spitballs at obama. She is either a lot less powerful than I gave her credit for, or else she has nothing on obama.

Great article, many comments with a fun turn of phrase downthread.

Whether or not Mr. Kudlow turns out right, I am enjoying the giddiness from fellow FReepers.

[Obama] is much futher to the left.

I disagree. He is positioned much farther to the left. Ideologically, Hillary is right there with him. She has moved to the middle to achieve success, but that isn't where her thinking is.

Giddiness? I'm seeing a lot of despair.

Wisconsin is a lot like Ohio except for the wacko ultra-Left Madison college population, which is even worse that Columbus's Ohio State.

Dane County, surrounding Madison, is truly an asylum, Kudlow lays out the truth here.

From the Dan County Election results website:

  Hillary Obama
Votes 44,168 95,359
% 31.26 67.49

That's a bitch slappin' my friends! Hats off to the whacked out loonies of Madison for putting Hillary where she belongs - in the ash-can of history!

I’ll vote McCain....despite previously thinking I couldn’t vote for anyone but Fred or Mitt.

More power to ya, but it is of little difference. There is no win without the Conservatives (all three pillars). He ain't gonna get there.

Hillary is toast, there are no secrets or magic bullets. You don't lose primary after primary by double digits and poll 10-15 points behind your opponent, the difference between victory and defeat, in the general, and get nominated. Hillary is a stone cold loser and the party knows it.

Republicans put forth a warmed-over corpse to counter the greatest challenge they have ever had
-

What is the greatest challenge?
Al qaeda? achmedinijad? Hezbollah? Putin? Kim il jung? Chavez? China?
yeah we’ll fight them with a pretty boy of our own who can speak. That will get them trembling in their boots.

He says nothing because he doesn't need to say anything. All he has to do is stand there and not be her. In the general, all he has to do is stand there and point to the D after his name, and occasionally work the word "Bush" into the conversation.
