“God never threatens; the devil never warns,” declared Oswald Chambers. We sometimes use the words threat and warning interchangeably, but Chambers saw a principle that suggests a distinction. Threats are used to get people to do what is in our best interest. Warnings are issued to get people to do what is in their best interest. In other words, threats seek to preserve power, whereas warnings serve to protect people from danger.
Satan wants us to think of God’s loving warnings as mean-spirited threats, but he is wrong. According to Chambers, “A warning is a great arresting statement of God’s, inspired by His love and patience.” The evidence of this is found in the many commands that are coupled with phrases like “that it may go well with you” (Deut. 4:40; 12:28).
In loving relationships, people warn one another of the inevitable consequences of foolish behavior. In unhealthy relationships, people threaten one another with punishment if they fail to live up to unreasonable demands.
As we interact with others, it’s good to consider the nature of our counsel and commands. Do we use ultimatums to preserve our own well-being? Or do we lovingly warn others to keep them from harm?

I am in process of making a LOVE CD of music. Thanks to the help of Godblessusa I have "sortof" learned to do more with music. I made a Christmas CD that was very well received by recipients. I love designing the CD labels & have them printed at office max as the laser printer does so much better than mine.
The love CD is for tomorrow night for the members of my Prostate Cancer Support group (I am facilitator) . We are having a "sweetheart" Vday party.
Here are two songs I will put on CD that GeeBee found for me. Johnny Cash also did this but I dont think I like his version primarily because I heard it for so many years with the soft female voice & the rough voice to me is not as pleasant

Funny. I went to see Beauty and the Beast when my son was little. We were not so into going. But it was the only thing playing that rainy day. When it opened with this song, I so enjoyed listening. This movie is terrific! We both ended up very surprised and really liking it.

This mornings thread posting was a comedy of errors (although NOT too funny for me). For some reason NO pix were showing up on Firefox. In IE I could NOT get into my account here, but was able to get into Wheelbarrows. SO I used his to practice.
When I posted the thread in IE where I could see all graphics just find but you would have all been a little surprised to find Wheelbarrow the new hostess/sistah. So I posted it in FFox but had no graphics showing in the preview & so said a little prayer & crossed my fingers & hit post
Another little NEW fun thing is that the monitor screen resolution became huge.. I had to scroll across & up & down to see anything... I tried to change in Display/settings (yes I know how) and each time I tried the computer froze & I lost all..After 4 times, I decided to just struggle along with the major inconvenience.
It took forever to get the simplest tasks done.
I am pretty sure I have some “bugs” in computer again. I cannot update ANY of my virus or spyware programs.. for a few weeks. Some other issues, which I dont want to detail but in general:

Hello, friends, nice to “see” you. It is cooler and raining off and on here, will rain more towards the weekend as I understand. What a blessing!! Last year, we had very little rain.
I give up, trying to find a cute warm fuzzy to post, so will just enjoy yours:):)
