It truly has become entertainment! I use to wonder the same thing about Elvis Presley, I am old enough to remember his first TV appearance and I am sure that he never would have gotten a start at all if he had been a short, fat, bald guy.
Elvis was quoted as saying that he never wanted to appear on the same stage with Roy Orbison because he knew Orbison was a much better singer. I once told my first wife that had Roy Orbison looked like Elvis and Elvis looked like Roy we would never have heard of Elvis Presley. Before somebody jumps on me I don’t mean to say Elvis had no talent, only that his looks opened the door for him, he never would have been nearly as successful with ordinary looks. All the little body language tricks he used to use on stage just would not have worked for an ordinary looking guy. On the other hand if Obama were not half black he would be no more successful than Kucinich, it really is pathetic to realize that his whole campaign depends on his skin tone, if he stepped on stage tomorrow with the same skin tone as RipSawyer everybody would yawn and go home. He would be just another skinny white dude with jug ears and nothing to say worth hearing.

Their intellectual progeny are thoroughly ensconced in the MSM, academia, Hollywood, and most importantly in the George Soros directed modern day Democratic Party which is the nest for all the Vipers on the left, the racial identity determininists, the radical feminists, the sexual deviationist lobby, the “watermelon” environmentalists, the open borders crowd and the anti-war seditionists who seek to steal from our magnificent armed forces the victory that they have earned with their blood and valor in the SAME MANNER as they stole our hard earned victory from those of us who are Vietnam vets.

A black friend of mine shared the exact same response tonight before I even mentioned this subject. I still have faith in America to identify this man for what he is and to elect the right man for the job.
I still have faith that the good American people will recognize this cult for what it is.
My good friend was saying the exact same thing when I told him my feelings. I have not read the books, and almost feel it may be unneccessary at this point, although I pray that I am wrong.

Well, reading the complete series would be heavy sledding for sure. In fact, I burned out with about three or four to go and have not found it within me to pick them up again. How did the USA get to this point, where one presidential candidate is an extreme leftist and racist with only one claim to fame - that millions of women swoon at his sight, and another candidate who is a radical communist law-breaking witch?
I know libs and Dems are suckers for candidates with “charisma”, but Obama’s candidacy is far more disturbing than say JFK’s. JFK promised simply to a little better (”we can do better”) than the Eisenhower admin. He didn’t promise big changes. Obama, when forced to talk about issues, truly promises a semi-Marxist kind of change. And the people who will be let down the most when their lives don’t change a bit if he is elected are Obama’s biggest suckers er I mean backers.

Obama is a very good primary candidate. I’m beginning to wonder how well he’ll translate into a general election candidate. It’s simply apples and oranges.
