It would be best if Obama wins Texas and Ohio. Then Hillary can use her dirty tricks to get enough delegates. Then Obama’s supporters can walk out of the convention hall and boycott the general election.

I’d rather see McCain explode and lose in a brokered convetion to someone for whom I can vote.

I see two “acceptable” (to me) outcomes from the Dem convention.

What you outline — a bloody fight (I’m hoping for actual riots on the floor of the hall!) with Hillary ending up on top — is one of them. If Hillary is the nominee only after subterfuge, she will be damaged goods going into the General and will be easy to fight and easy to beat. And whole demographic groups of Democraps (young, black) will be DEmotivated to vote for her. Some may even vote McCain, if he ends up the (R) nominee as seems likely.

The other is for Obama to come out the candidate. Unlike some here on the board, once he’s no longer running in the echo chamber of Democrat primary activists, I think he is easily beatable. That makes it the (R) candidate’s to lose — if the (R) will fight! I think “fighting” Obama will be trickier in some ways. But for someone with the guts to put aside political correctness and go toe-to-toe with him, beating him is straightforward IMHO.

Just my 2c. But both scenarios are predicated on Obama having a healthy delegate lead going into the convention. That’s why I’m voting for the Llama in the Tx primary.
