Wisconsin and the Shattered Myth of Hillary's Inevitability
Beacon Street Journal ^ | 2/19/08 | John Kinsellagh

Racked by gross mismanagement, arrogance and an inability to adapt a compelling message, Hillay's campaign has squandered her status as frontrunner and shattered the myth of her inevitability. How did a shoo-in become a has-been?

Well it’s time to make jokes about Hillary’s campaign being like the Titanic.

The Hillary campaign was supposed to be a strong inevitable force leading to the Dem. nomination. The Titanic was supposed to be unsinkable, as well as being an example of the highest technology of the time.

There’s lots of poetic justice as Hillary’s campaign is heading for the iceberg. Hillary is the ice princess. Hillary’s campaign is like the Titanic hitting the iceberg.

I predict entire books will be written about this campaign and where it went wrong. Unless by some miracle the Clintons pull it out, and end up in the White House again. Gotta hedge our bets.

I would have never thought that the Democrat Socialists would prefer someone unknown nationally to the elitist Clintoids. I thought that they could not live without the Clintons. But Oprah triumphs them! HRC must be irate with many.

Most Dems I talk to are just sick of the Clintons. They see them much as I see Rudy Giuliani: an annoying has been who belongs on the scrap heap of 90s culture.

There is far too much gleeful dancing on Hillary’s political grave here at FR.

Everyone needs to remember that Obama is both a stronger candidate and would govern FAR to the LEFT of Hillary.

Are we to expect a Hillary hand bag line in the near future?

Sure. But they will be a line of second hand purses. Then she can sell them on her own home shopping show “This Old Bag”.

“Everyone needs to remember that Obama is both a stronger candidate and would govern FAR to the LEFT of Hillary.”

Rubbish. You just THINK hillary is to the right of Obama because she lies and triangulates.

The reality is that she is far, far to the left of Obama.
