I've worked in the oil industry. We find NEW oil every year. That is what oil companies spend most of their time and money doing, looking for new oil. Without it, they are out of business. They are in business to make money. As much as they can. That is the goal of every company in business. Even Ben & Jerry's. Without oil, they don't make money. It is a simple proposition.
The question is not whether there are restrictions on domestic production. There are. The question is what is the size of our reserves. Everyone interested in peak oil tries to answer that question...but you won't read what they have to say.
If a beaver builds a dam that's a work of art. If 100,000 beavers build dams that's fine. If a 100 billion beavers attempt to build dams that's a problem.
Geezus! If you’re representative of the oil industry mentality we’re in bigger trouble than I imagined.
I never suggested that you commit suicide. That is ridiculous.
Usually, when people accuse me of hypocrisy when I say there are too many people on this planet that's what they mean.
Why is that a retarded statement? If oil companies could control prices, why would they have permitted themselves to go into bankruptcy or merge in order to survive less than ten years ago?
Be specific.
I would never want anyone to harm themselves no matter how much we might disagree.
