ATLANTA An ex-con who spent four years in prison for a fatal robbery in Florida will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted Wednesday of killing his ex-girlfriend at the CNN headquarters complex last April.
Records show Mann has an extensive criminal record, including convictions in Florida for car theft and sex with a minor. He also has a murder conviction in Florida for killing someone while committing a robbery, records show. He was sentenced to 10 years for the murder but served four.

Another innocent person killed by the government! What kind of insane system do we have where a career criminal can kill someone during the commission of a robbery and only have to serve 4 years?!?!?!?!
And this career criminal who killed his 2nd person did not get the death penalty because . . .
****And this career criminal who killed his 2nd person did not get the death penalty because . . .***????
I give up...and I give up. Disgusting isn’t it?
Was it Sweeps Week? Anything for ratings.
Where are the idiots who think that we need more laws to "keep guns out of the hands of criminals?" Come on I know there are some of you on this forum. I see your posts. You and the NRA and Teddy Kennedy and Sara Brady think the background checks are a good idea. You'd probably lose bladder control if it were possible (as in prior to 1968) just to mail order a gun. Well answer this one. How did the Brady law preventthis criminal from getting a gun and killing someone with it? Take your time.
In Texas, that is capital murder and the DA usually asks the jury for the needle.
The NRA opposes backround checks and they fought hard to prevent them at the onset...Now, the NRA, does however work within the system to make the backround checks easier on us, while still working hard to eventually eliminate them.

This is a lie. Don't pi$$ on my head and tell me it's raining.
In Colorado, the one guy on Death Row just got a stay of execution, because his trial was ‘unfair’.
CNN was a Gun Free Zone ?
This previous killing was in FL and he only got 4 years?? They are slacking off down there I guess. Need to be more like TX.
I know a man who had “consensual” sex (yes I know it can’t be) with a 14 year old and went to jail for 135 years. It’s his first conviction. Now how did this guy fall through the cracks?
Yes the imbalances can be absurd. Even certain thoughts and words will be crimes soon, if they aren’t already. Yet some of the most violent savages are allowed to roam the streets. The toll in lives lost is incalculable.
What did you read in that gives you the idea the NRA is favoring gun control?
If you make an end run around system you get nowhere....One must balance the strength of the Constitution on one hand, with the d0uch3bags in the Congress (and in reality the Whitehouse) and the activists in the judiciary.
Unless your are ready for armed conflict NOW, then let the NRA and other organizations take back our constitutional rights bit by bit in the process known as incrementalism. (unfortunately this is the way the left does it....chipping away)
eventually we may have just go out and take back what is ours....the NRA wants that, I want that and you want that.
To do it now means either armed conflict or putting it all before a bunch of elitist judges who may weaken the constitution further....BTW this may happen with the SCOTUS and the imminent District of Columbia ruling....I am not sure the time is right for that one now. We will see.
BTW if either ‘Hussein’ or the ‘Beast’ is elected, I will gladly move to the first state that secedes. That is when the time would most likely be right.
How about the words "It has long been the position of the NRA to emphasize the enforecment of existing laws..."
That was in the context of criminal activity.
