Barack Hussein Obama, Jr
Gather ^ | February 29, 2008 | Juan J Martinez

Since when did it become inappropriate or taboo to use an individual's given name when referring to him or her in a political debate or forum? Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. that is the full name, of Presidential hopeful Senator Obama. That is a fact, which as much as the Obama camp wishes to do so, can't be denied or glossed over.

So now middle names have been added to the long list of PCs do's and don'ts.

Then there is the mysterious leaked photo, which shows Senator Obama in some sort of ceremonial robes, reminiscent of the clothing associated with the Middle East. Again this photo is real and, as of yet, has not been attacked as a forgery or having any manipulation done it. Now who leaked the photo is speculative, depending on whose side you are on. Hillary Clinton and the McCain camp deny any direct knowledge and I tend to believe them. I have my own theory that it might just have been the Obama political machine itself. It is a proven method of diffusing a potentially embarrassing fact, by getting it out yourself and then playing the victim or martyr by accusing your opponent of unfair and dirty tricks. I may be wrong but that is my take on the photo fiasco.

Either way, the facts are just that "facts". If Senator Obama intends to be the next leader of the Free World, he should not fear the truth and neither should his supporters. So lets not add to the already brimming book and burden of the PC police.

So now middle names have been added to the long list of PCs do's and dont's.

ONLY,,,and the operative word here is ONLY,,,if it is so deemed by the liberal elite and the MSM.

After all, democrats and the MSM had no problem at all calling Pres Bush, Goerge Herbert Walker Bush--when the purpose of using his middle names (both of them) was to paint and portray him as an out-of-touch, snooty, rich, elitist Republican who could care less about the average person. That was just fine.

The same with Dan Quayle. Although they knew it irritated him,,,,he was repeated referred to as "James Danforth Quayle" by democrats and the MSM for the same reason above.

Using a middle name is perfectly acceptable if used to stereotype, degrade or demean Republicans.

THOSE ARE THE RULES--and the sooner we accept them, the better. /s

Until November 2007, he was about as unknown as James Earl Carter, Jr., was in November 1975.

Or if a woman makes a political statement with names, that’s ok, at least if she’s a liberal woman such as Hillary.

In the early days in Arkansas, she insisted on making a political statement by keeping her maiden name. Only after Bill lost his re-election as governor of Arkansas did she then become Hillary Clinton.

Then, shortly after Bill became president, she was referred to in the news as Hillary Rodham Clinton, with no explanation as to why she wanted both her maiden and married names used.

Sometimes now, she’s just called “Hillary”. She’s now in that status of people who can go by one name, such as Elvis or Madonna.

True. Of course he was never referred to as James Earl Carter--heck, using the name "Earl" might have made him sound like a backwoods southerner. No one would have wanted that.

Much better to call him what he wanted to be called, Jimmy Carter--just a nice, average, middle-class, next-door, type of guy that everyone could relate to. /s

Better for Obama to be named Hussein than Gaylord.

Apparently the difference lies in your party affiliation and whether you feel your middle name advantages or disadvantages you. It's all about how the left feels. They dictate for all.

William Jefferson Clinton liked his name. Come to think of it, do they have to say their full legal name when taking the oath of office?

Good point, most people are not aware of that.

She also wanted to be referred to as "Hillary Rodham Clinton" immediately after Slick was elected in '92--until the time came for Slick's reelection in '96--at which time she asked to be called just "Hillary Clinton" again.

Of course she could NEVER be Hillary Rodham Clinton while running for President,,,so the "PC" name for her is just "Hillary" (just an average, next-door neighbor, down-to-earth, typical housewife).

But if she was elected, I would bet her preference would be President Hillary Rodham Clinton.

THOSE ARE THE RULES,,,and the sooner we accept them, the better./s

The proper way to address Barack is:,

Barack “Can’t Say His Middle Name” Obama.

OR,

Barack “Arab Christan” Obama,

OR,

Barack “Arab American” Obama,

OR,

Barack “Dad was a Muslim” Obama,

BUT YOU CAN NOT USE,

HUSSEIN
