You likely won't, either. It exists, but isn't something that Barnes and Noble, Waldenbooks, et al carry. Last place I saw one for sale was from Paladin Press, a mail-order specialty place which had that title, and about a hundered more books on various methods of creating mayhem, most of which are of dubious quality...

You can buy it at some gun shows and other "survival related" events.

It is a cartoon-quality "how to" book that would, as Coloradan pointed out, likely get you killed as it would produce a close facsimile to a functional destructive/defensive device. It's been a long time since I looked at a copy, I don't recall seeing anything about Ricin in it. If so, instructions probaly involved stick-figures and a 1,2,3 explanation chart, leaving off the part where you drop dead from exposure.

: )

Exactly, Paladin Press was big at gun shows and the like back in the day. I'm not certain at all if they are still in business, as they were involved in a murder trial here in MD about 13-14 years ago, when some doofus hired some other doofus who had a copy of Paladin Press' "Diary of a Hitman" or some such drivel. They pretty much dropped off the radar screen, as far as I know, after that.

Like I said, and you reiterated, the quality of the "reading material" proffered was dubious at best, and downright dangerous to the user at the worst. I still have some of the junk I ordered from them mail order hanging around (as I recall I got the catalogue *at* a gun show I attended). The only book remotely worth anything in the end was Claire Wolfe's "101 Things To Do Until The Revolution". The rest was pure dreck...

It’s good that “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”.

anarchists?

I’ve been wondering when the AR/anarchists bunch would do something like this. Wouldn’t surpise me.

Remember MizSterious, I told you my BIL told me the Homeland Security is on the lookout for these types of individuals who team up with radical Islamists.

tiki, there is another motel these people stayed in mentioned in this thread, so I posted you.

Or perhaps Danish Lutherans.

Perhaps. But did you consider a Lutheran danish? Otherwise known as lutefisk.

Terrorism is terrorism, and we need to keep that in mind. There is actually some evidence (see “The Third Terrorist” by Jayna Davis) that the OKC bombers had some help from a Middle Eastern group—if so (and I have good reason to believe it is: the local teevee stations played recordings of the police radio broadcasts, which all had BOLOs for a truck and three men, one of whom was ME), McVeigh and company would have had little in common with such a cohort—except hatred of the USG.

All of which should make us very nervous: approximately half of the US, according to the last election, fall into that category.

Not hardly. There are some, as an adult that I’m even uncomfortable going in. It’s been years since I have been there but those 2 seemed to have more kids running around.

You look like one of the trolls Robinson says messed up FR. Came along about election time 2004. Plenty of one liner posts adding no value, just taking bandwith.

Why don’t you open up your Chronicle this morning or head down to the Castro for your espresso and eye candy.

In the meantime, the rest of us can can remember the non-terrorist acts at the El Al counter in LA, the bomb vest (non-terrorist) suicide in Norman, the shooting at the jewish center in Seattle (again, not a terrorist act), the phenomenom known as muslim men having trouble on public buses, the non-terrorist muslim shooter at the UT mall, the school shooters in Montreal and Blacksburg (who had plenty of anti-christian and anti-US rantings that were whitewhashed) and the non-terrorist guy busted in FL trying to board a plane with jihad books and a box cutter in a fake book . . . .

You guessed it! It’s another conspiracy. I’d like to talk more but I have to go throw a NASCAR race now.
