Our local radio just reported that one is dead and the shooter shot himself.

Actually, impressed they identified the shooter death seperate from the victim. Lately it seems as if they lump them all together.

Todays America makes life from the 50s and 60s America seem like a church garden party.

Man, I LOVED the 50’s. I lived in the country and I loved it. People were calmer, life, in general, was calmer. It wasn’t perfect but close to it as you can get on earth.

I have always been aware of the fact that during election cycles, the number of reported acts of gun violence goes up.
Remember the AWB was instigated by number of similar incidents. McDonalds, Luby's, Columbine, even the one in England contributed to the hysteria.
What the anti-gunners expected, and did not get after VT, and now UIC, was a backlash against 'gun free zones' instead of attempts for more control over guns.
Gun-control is a loser for the Democrats, and Hill and the big O know it. They both have to answer to gunowners for their stances.
That is a huge silent majority that has yet to speak in this campaign.

It hasn’t been America for the last 5 years but people were a lot happier when they could spend on credit. The party is over and people are pissed off. I unfortunately expect to see a lot more of this kind of thing.

It should work because a person will read the sign and choose not to commit the crime, just as the drug pushers do at the school yard when they see the “Drug Free Zone” sign.

There are 16 houses in my community for sale. Most are moving to mid florida or west coast. Some gave up selling and are renting. THey are also west coast (Naples) or mid florida. I want to go to either one...but have to wait a few years....I can’t wait to get out of here...
