If only he was just a cannibal, I might have voted for him...

While I’m personally not a big fan of John McCain, I find this plotline a bit reprehensible...

If John McCain had the guts to actually eat another guy’s liver after killing him, I might be happy about voting for him.

What does one expect from a show about a person subjecting oneself to demons?

No McCain fan here but that is simply over the line.

The plot was ripped from the headlines. Oh, wait... That’s Law and Order.

But you can’t mention 0’bambi’s middle name or show a picture of him gone native...

NBC is the only network whose listeners would find this plotline appealing.

Well, McCain has proven that he's not above "eating his own".
To: chessplayer
I’m still voting for him.

Mondays NBC psychic crime drama "Medium" featured a plot line in which an Arizona senator and former POW is discovered to be a two-time murderer and a cannibal. Yes, but what's his stance on immigration reform?

Hollywood does this all the time.
I recall there was a sci-fi show called Sliders a few years back that depicted an alternate universe where an evil fascist dictator (overweight and Caucasian) would broadcast from a TV set identical to the one from Rush Limbaugh’s then-TV-show.

While it is safe to assume that the story was written before the Hollywood writers strike, and before the rise of John McCain to front-runner status for the GOP presidential nomination, the blatant use of McCains personal history, as a politician and Vietnam POW, as grist to feed the murderous plot is obvious. From the sounds of it, it may have been written during the strike ...
Gregory Itzin, who was the bad President on 24, plays the Senator, so it's obvious what the people who put this series together are after ...

Medium is the most driven anti military show on TV, even worse than Law and Order.
On medium her brother and his friend murdered their sergeant in Iraq.

Could you imagine if they wrote a storyline casting a charming but vapid black Illinois senator as a coke-using, America-hating socialist intent on destroying our way of life?
I mean, just imagine that !!!
