Who knows how, but it ain’t over yet (Hildabeast)
Boston Herald ^ | 3/5/08 | Howie Carr

Posted on 03/05/2008 1:10:11 AM PST by xtinct

Who would have figured it? All the mud that the Clintons threw at Barack Obama - the Iowa coordinators spreading the rumors that he was a Muslim, Billy Shaheen in New Hampshire intimating that he was a drug dealer, Bob Kerrey endlessly repeating his middle name, “Hussein.”

All for naught but, finally, a Hail Mary pass, what amounted to a Republican ad, stressing Barack’s limp-wristed, Code Pink politics. The spot was based on the most unlikely scenario imaginable - that Democratic primary voters actually gave a hoot about national security.

But it worked. Or something worked. And suddenly, she’s back in the fight. She even took Rhode Island. This means that in the states where Gov. Deval Patrick is seen on the local TV news every evening, Barack Obama is now 0-for-3. Ted and Patches Kennedy and John Kerry once again showed that they too have long coattails -for Hillary.

Yes we can - learn from our terrible error in the 2006 governors race!

Hillary Clinton isn’t the new Comeback Kid. She’s the next Freddie Krueger. And the Pennsylvania primary may well be Barack’s Nightmare on the Main Line.

We will have Hillary Clinton to kick around some more. Nobody wants to write the obituaries for the Clinton dynasty quite yet. This has been just too much fun, watching Hillary twist slowly, slowly in the wind. Because she is in so many ways the female Richard Nixon - unlikable, shrill, phony, stiff, self-pitying and more than a little shady.

Why do the goalposts keep moving? I thought in order to stay alive, she not only had to win, but she had to win something like 70/30. Now she barely squeaks out a couple of wins and she’s a major contender all of a sudden.

A stake could have been driven through the heart of both Clintons last night. Don't tell me that is not worth doing.

True, it was worth doing, considered in isolation. But son of Dracula, Obama, would have been still out there. Either of them could beat McCain.

McCain is the problem. The only hope this doofus has is that the two Vampires devour each other.

Yes we are my friend. Either of those commies can beat McCain easily. We’re screwed BIG TIME!

Nobody is going to go out into the streets and walk door-to-door to work to elect the mean, old, liberal bastard from Arizona.

People who want a liberal will have a Democrat to vote for.

McCain's problem is nobody likes the guy. The electorate is too evenly divided to have a hold-your-nose guy like McCain win the election.

the dem party will implode and could actually end up being replaced by some third party.

We can dream, but it ain't gonna happen. I occasionally put on the deep sea diving suit and go over to DU, and I read the same kinds of threads there that I read here. "Hillary's evil", "Obama's an empty suit", but the threads are posted by their opponent's supporters, and they all contain threats not to vote or to join a third party if the poster's choice isn't nominated (sounds like us with McCain, huh?). Anyone with a nickel's worth of sense knows that a leopard doesn't change it's spots, and that the DUmmies aren't going to abandon the Democrat Party, since it's the only avenue to power that they really have (often expresses as "Where else are they gonna go"?)

NAFTA-Gate will be Obama’s undoing.

I think you could be absolutely correct, because this aptly shows Osama Hussein Obama for the phony he is, except for one thing - most dims are too stupid to grasp the facts.

Get over yourself....quit blaming FReepers for something they have little to do with, either of these 2 D-Rat candidates are beatable. If you are going door to door, do something positive to support the Conservative candidates.

If they are smart, the Democrats will make Pennsylvania, the winner-take-all contest.

If Obama wins, Hillary steps aside and accepts the Senate Majority Leader post.

If Hillary wins, then Obama will be her VP. She won’t have a choice, because it’s the only way she can keep Obama’s supporters.
