If Obama is the Messiah they say he is. He should have a hundred thousand people march on the Clinton library and hod it under seige until the documents are released!

What does any of it matter? Why even bother starting this thread? They can do anything they want and get away with it, just as they always have. We whine and whine about it-and then-we reward them and keep them alive politically. America had its one fleeting chance to be free of the swine forever last Tuesday, and what seemed like half the FReepers in Texas and Ohio crossed over and voted for these scum, after listening to the ‘brilliant strategy’ of ‘conservative’ talk show hosts who want to sell more books. Get ready for eight more years. All because a lot of people apparently forgot the first eight-or how they always land on their feet.

You mean the same Mark Levin who told people to vote for them last week?

This will make McCain, by process of elimination, look like the only honest one running, not tied to any illegal activity of any kind.....Yes, the Keating Five will, again, be overlooked at our expense.

As far as I’m concerned, the jury’s still out on that tactic. That said, I’m fundamentally against such tactics and IMO the parties should take steps to eliminate them.

Yes, the Keating Five will, again, be overlooked at our expense.

His friends contributed $56,000 for Senator McCain's two House races in 1982 and 1984, and $54,000 for his 1986 Senate race. Didn't cost us a dime, in fact probably saved us money/airplane trip ;)

Senate Select Committee on Ethics concluded: "The Committee concludes that Senator McCain's actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him. The Committee finds that Senator McCain took no further action after the April 9, 1987 meeting when he learned of a criminal referral. "

"The Committee reaffirms its prior decision that it does not have jurisdiction to determine the issues of disclosure or reimbursement pertaining to flights provided by American Continental Corporation while Senator McCain was a Member of the House of Representatives. The Committee did consider the effect of such on his state of mind and judgment in taking steps to assist Lincoln.

"Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate; therefore, the Committee concludes that no further action is warranted with respect to Senator McCain on the matters investigated during the preliminary inquiry."

Investigation fini. Clinton/Peter Paul and Obama/Rezko, however present day media illegal fund raising attention more likely to take precedent.

Old Alumni vs the New Pledgie: Barack "Barry" Hussein Obama, Jr., #23.

There’s a lot of dirt on her that’s been witheld. Remember a while back the Barrett (or was it the Burnett) Report that she had kept under wraps? I wonder if that was ever released. She also held back her college thesis.

Rich had fled the country after being indicted for tax evasion. His ex-wife, Denise Rich, had contributed $450,000 to the Clinton library and more than $1.1 million to the Democratic Party. ~~~

PLUS, Hillary;s two fat, CROOKED brothers each got $200,000 for pardons for other criminals!!!!! The RODHAMS are the WORST family ever in politics!!

The Committee finds that Senator McCain took no further action after the April 9, 1987 meeting when he learned of a criminal referral. “... Exactly. And I quit shooting after my lawyer said I could be charged with murder. The man is scum.

The Clintons are just more blatant, therefore under the microscope more. But I was reading this interesting piece on politicians and/or criminals.

"From the Yazoo land fraud of the 1790s to the Savings and Loan scandals of the 1980s, "organized crime" in America has involved "respectable" people. It is a social phenomenon, an integral part of American life, and, paradoxically, not at all a threat to the existing order.6If America, the beacon of liberty and democracy, can live with its "organized crime"—for all its moralistic crusades against alcohol, drugs, prostitution, and "organized crime" itself—then perhaps other countries, including Russia, can, too. A second lesson is that the Prohibition—and any prohibition of economic activity will have this same effect—provided organized crime with a golden opportunity to penetrate the legitimate economy. Woodiwiss is also going against the current when he refers to criminal groups as “networks” (170, 202, and 381). The partnerships even of America’s most famous criminal, Al Capone, he correctly points out, were not hierarchical; gangsters are hustlers, not bureaucrats (Woodiwiss, 2001: 196). Once installed in the political system and the economy, by whatever means, organized crime is impossible to extract"........"politicians' are able to control organized crime from the top, and to exploit it like a "cash cow"--a source of hard currency, investment and development funds, campaign financing, and personal enrichment..."

Obama, or anyone with early aspirations of holdling high political office, probably has a careful motto laid out: Do not have your picture taken with anyone but "trustworthy friends and relatives", to the most careful degree possible. The Clintons, perhaps more recklessly egotistical, have always posed for any photo opportunity, like they are almost oblivious to how that photo might appear later, innocent or not. A picture in the beginning often seems like an agreement to sign on for future political thank yous-campaign fund raising.

All politicians brush elbows with some kind of unscrupulous messenger of a given criminal activity at some time or other in their careers. Politicians have to eventually pay off the I.O.U's that have gotten them where they are. One point General McPeak (now military adviser to Obama) said when he first met Barack Hussein Obama,Jr, was that Obama was upset over the amount of money it took to just enter into a presidential race. Money makes and controls power. Your donation to your favorite candidate is intended for him or her to do something for you-- free health care, free tuition to universities, tax cuts, elimination of the IRS etc. Far too many have their hand out, that's the problem.

She probably will want to rewrite the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and maybe the National Anthem.

Never forget Melonhead Begala's observation: "Stroke of the pen. Law of the land. Kinda cool."

We forget that at our peril.

She's far more dangerous than Obama because she's already been there and knows what to do to circumvent or eliminate the system entirely.

Obama can't even touch that on his worst day times 100.

Your data and input is really awesome. i just heard on Hannity and Colmes tonight that Obama’s church is being investigated by the IRS. I wonder if Clintons are behind that as well.
