Bill Clinton: Hillary-Obama Ticket Would Be "Almost Unstoppable Force" By Greg Sargent - March 8, 2008, 3:00PM
Now Bill Clinton is saying it. Here he is, floating the idea of a joint Hillary-Obama ticket at a town-hall meeting today in Mississippi:
"She said yesterday and she said the day after her big wins in Texas and Ohio and Rhode Island that she was very open to that and I think she answered explicitly yes yesterday," Clinton began, referring to Hillary's own answers on the topic in recent days.
"I know that she has always been open to it, because she believes that if you can unite the energy and the new people that he’s brought in and the people in these vast swaths of small town and rural America that she’s carried overwhelmingly, if you had those two things together she thinks it’d be hard to beat. I mean you look at the, you look at the, you look at the map of Texas and the map in Ohio. And the map in Missouri or -- well Arkansas’s not a good case because they know her and she won every place there.
"But you look at most of these places, he would win the urban areas and the upscale voters, and she wins the traditional rural areas that we lost when President Reagan was president. If you put those two things together, you’d have an almost unstoppable force."

I doubt the Clintons “gave” their campaign anything. I’ve heard it reported as “lent” their campaign $5 million.
So what Willie is trying to say is that the American people would be screwed?

Should Hidabeast steal the presidential nomination via the Super Race/super delegates (which she has every intention of doing by hook or by crook) and Osama, Obama is relegated to the back of the bus driving Miss Daisy to the White House, "There Will Be Blood" come the democRAT convention in Denver. There had better be plenty of riot police on sight with clubs, in full roit gear with LOTS of tear gas because that is exactly what the democRATS will have on their hands; race riots that are going to make Chicago 68 look like a picnic. The so-called "African Americans" are going to raise holy blazes once they FINALLY realize the truth that the democRATS ARE THE RACISTS, got to keep those black folks on the plantation and Osama, Obama, is thrown under the bus.
If Obamma Lamma Ding Dong ran as her V.P. he’d be like a lost puppy dog like algore was as Bill and Hills V.P.

In the Democrat Party, a VP offer from the Clintons is an offer which cannot be refused I’m afraid.
Yes, Obama would easily get subordinated in the VP job, but if this service to the Clintons were refused when they need Obama to shore up the black vote, this is where the politics of personal destruction comes into focus.

Hillary is really angling for Obama to be on the low-end of her ticket. I don’t think he would do it, he would be crazy to do so.
And it wouldn’t be unbeatable. Half of the voters couldn’t vote for her and the other half wouldn’t vote for him.
It would be a doomed ticket.

Took the words out of my mouth. Rush was on to something like this too. There are going to be a lot of people who will not vote for a black (yes, racism does still exist), and there are tons of people who will not vote for a woman. Those combined numbers could tank the democrats in Nov.
