spitzer was always a phony punk. I blame Pataki for him being the governor. Pataki destroyed the GOP in NYS. Now we have this. Never in anyone’s memory has this happened in NYS.

Being a politician must not be hard work at all. I have a full time job and there is no way I could find time outside of work, family and home to do stuff like this.

Over and above Doing The Right Thing, I can't imagine how desperate (or bored, or rich, or jaded) you would have to be to risk screwing up your entire life over this, especially when you consider the "self-service" alternatives available today. They had the "Mayflower Madam" on one of the news shows last night, and she opined that the risk of getting caught is part of the thrill. Must be. Read a few of the articles posted here. It appears Spitzer has a history of hiring hookers. His bank flagged him with the IRS because he was moving unusual amounts of money around to cover his tracks with the Emperor Club. The IRS then called in the FBI. This is not a one time thing with Spitzer.

Spitzer said the important point is the ideas a pol brings. His ideas included drivers licenses for illegal aliens instead of reporting them. This is a red flag that he is no law & order guy.
