We don’t lose most of the WTO lawsuits. If you look at the outcomes, all you can say is that we generally win the cases we bring, and lose the cases brought by others.
I recommend Klein to anyone, though they are electrician-oriented. Lifetime warranty, yum.
We have lost really important cases that we should have won. Unfortunately, the WTO is as anti-American as the UN in my opinion.
There is still manufacturing. I don’t dispute that. However, we have lost more than we have gained in terms of manufacturing. We must take a serious look at trade and improve it...so it works for America. This will stave of social ills (unemployment, lack of health insurance etc,) that cause all roads to lead to socialism. Certainly, we need to take a good look at China and determine if it is in our best interest to continue trade that enriches them...allowing them to outspend us on national defense-suicidal in my opinion.
I do it almost everyday.
Manufacturing is only up in the fake statistics being produced by the government.
The statistics you've provided as proof are very convincing. LOL!
What does "below the market" even mean?
It means that Japan actually loses money on many of the cars it sells in the US...breaks even on some. Any losses are made up by charging higher prices in Japan-closed market-all the while being subsidized by the Japanese government.
Where do you shop? I shop in Sears, Penny’s, Kohls, Macy’s etc. I don’t find goods manufactured in the US.
So does GM. LOL!
It means that Japan actually loses money on many of the cars it sells in the US...
Japan sells cars in the US? I always thought the car companies did that. And considering the fact that you think they lose money, they seem to be pretty profitable somehow.
Yes, Japanese cars are imported and sold in this country. The difference between Japan and the US is their government makes sure via a closed market and subsidies that they can make up any shortfall on cars sold in the US in Japan...I guess you think it’s funny that American companies get the shaft. I thought only Dems rooted against American business-live and learn.
Who said they weren't? Korean cars are also imported and sold in this country. So are Italian cars, German cars......
...I guess you think its funny that American companies get the shaft.
No, I think the economic ignorance on these threads is funny. And then I think it's sad. Economic education in the country is really poor.
I thought only Dems rooted against American business
Who was rooting against American business?
I thought only Dems wanted bigger government? Live and learn.
