The expo cancelled at the World Congress Center is the Atlanta Home Show.
Looks like an ongoing Bow Echo with the potential for damaging winds.
There was a brief hook echo and rotation noted which prompted the latest tornado warning.
These storms are moving fast, stay up to date with current warnings.
Downtown Nashville was hit by a Tornado a few years ago.
How long until we see security camera and cell phone video of the actual event in Atlanta?

We're supposed to be down there for a retriever training session this morning.
There's another band on the radar to the NW, in northern Alabama, not sure if the weather guys think it's going to miss us, or what.
Our sirens never went off here . . . and from our house we can hear two of them -- three if the wind is right. They did go off a couple of days ago when another band of storms passed through -- nothing like this one.
Bet Atlanta wishes it hadn't sold its sirens to Cobb County! We're glad to have them.

My son’s ok... but, he’s furious... cause, now they can’t get tickets to the UK game. This was his first SEC tourney, and I’m sure it will be memorable.

SO true. The strange thing is that I posted the little quip about CNN before it was reported that their own stupid headquarters had been hit! (Cue wierd music)
Speaking of that, a few years back, there was this former cop from around LA, I think, who started correlating the most devistating natural disasters with events that went against God’s word. I went with a friend to see him speak and I was somewhat skeptical at first, but this guy had example after example. It was unreal. He brought dated newspapers to back up his claim and most of the time the headlines were on the same page, meaning the events had coincided on or nearly on the same day, always the event first, then the natural disaster occuring in it’s wake. He had examples from all over the country. He started noticing a pattern, then started thinking there was somthing to it, then began researching and collecting past examples as well as watching for upcoming events. It happened far to regularly to be a coincidence. It was actually pretty cool to see it layed out, suffering not withstanding. I wonder if anyone else remembers this guy.
That's because you can find an event that "goes against God's word" every day of the year in every town in the country.
It would be mathematically impossible for any natural disaster not to "correlate" with such an event.
It's well documented that humans are great at creating patterns that don't exist.

The latest information I heard (early this morning), the Asst. Fire Chief said they had finished searching the building incl. with dogs and cameras and were pretty confident no-one was inside when it collapsed.
It has been evacuated earlier when the FD declared that it was unsafe and threatening to collapse. They said some parts collapsed down 3-4 floors.
