Hayes did a nice job. He is an investigative reporter. His focus is DC schools. I guess Saturday is a slow school day. Washington must have been hopping in all other parts of the city yesterday Hayes apparently wasn’t able to file this story until late, it’s on A13.
But the front page has other related war news:
A Crude Case for War (Distilling Oil as the Cause)
I Love the Army But I Have To Leave It
The Wounded Warrior at Home (WRAMC investigation)
Veteran is Diagnosed, Then Charged (Attempted suicide, 5 pages)
-All manner of subtitled articles regarding suicide
Almost Home, But Facing More Delays (2007)
When the War Comes Home
(There must be a reference book from which to choose titles, and it utilizes country and old war music song titles.)
Yes and I had a hooded sweet shirt that said the same thing.
While technically he could say that and not be incorrect, it is a misnomer.
We support the troops fighting the war on terror;
we support the Iraqi people in their efforts to bring stability and freedom to their country;
we suport the continuation of the battle to achieve this.
In short, we support victory and those who fight for it.On a much more personal note:
Holy Schamoley, it was a GREAT DAY. I feel much better about this weekend now than I did yesterday.
I will have an AAR posted on one of my sites soon.
I was too busy running around getting stuff organized to take pictures (I hate being in the middle of all this stuff, cause it limits my direct participation in the festivities), but I LOVE being in the middle of all this stuff cause someone had to do it; so anyone who took pictures FReepmail me and we'll work something out.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!
This Ain't Hell, (but you can see it from here) has a great write up on the weekend's festivities, with words and pictures and videos and everything.
Pro war is good. war is good. dead enemies by the tens of thousands is extremely goood. Wailing women in destroyed homes are good.
Victory after destroying the enemy is priceless
Very good and clear points about terminology.
Thank you so much! and thank you for the link to the writeup of the weekend!
Thanks for picking me up and dropping me off at the bus station, Bob! I just got back to Rachacha at 9am and need to catch some shut-eye, but it was great meeting everyone and the highlight was when the school kids on the bus from California, joined in with us on the March on Constitution Ave.! (actually, it was all a highlight to me, you guys are the best!)
I’ll post more later, when I won’t be nodding out at the keyboard after 12 hours down (to DC), 12 hours rallying in support of our troops and their mission, 12 hours back (to Rochester)! :-)

Thanks for the ping, freema. Looks like a good turnout. I especially liked the Hanoi Jane’s HQ photo. LOL.
Great work! looks like three was a good turnout! Sorry I wasn’t there :-(
BTW: There is also “Iraq Vets for Congress”. Duncan Hunter is on that list for congressional seat besides many others. We need to take some of those seats back and put the right kind of leaders up!
