In the good, old tradition of revolutionaries, Obama hides in plain print. So, before listening to his speech, its worth while to note the following passages from his autobiography:
On p. 94-95 he describes an effective tactic to deal with White people:
It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved - such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didnt seem angry all the time.
Indeed, when he was a community organizer (age 22 prior to going to law school) he happily cooperated with Rafiq, a former gangster turned Nation of Islam. He even believed that Black Nationalism was a good therapy for Blacks. That was also the reason he supported Wright (pp. 190-200). For he shares Michelles sentiments of alienation, came to believe that race should trump everything and it should be anti-white:
. . . :all the black people who, it turned out, shared with me a voice that whispered inside them - You dont really belong here.In a sense, then, Rafiq was right when he insisted that, deep down, all blacks were potential Nationalists. The anger was there, bottled up and often turned inward. And . . . I wondered whether, for now at least, Rafiq wasnt also right in preferring that that anger be redirected; whether a black politics that suppressed rage towards white generally, or one that failed to elevate race loyally above all else, was a politics inadequate to the task.
It was a painful thought to consider, as painful now as it has been years ago. it contradicted the morality my mother had taught me, a morality of subtle distinctions- between individuals of goodwill and those who wished me ill, between active malice and ignorance of indifference. I has a personal stake in that moral framework; Id discovered that I couldnt escape it if I tried. And yet perhaps it was a framework that blacks in this country could no longer afford; perhaps it weakened black resolve, encouraged confusion within the ranks. Desperate times called for desperate measures, and for many blacks, times were chronically desperate. If nationalism could create a strong and effective insularity, deliver on its promise of self respect, then the hurt it might cause well-meaning whites, of the inner turmoil it caused people like me, would be of little consequence.
If nationalism could deliver. As it turned out, questions of effectiveness, and not sentiment, cause most of my quarrels with Rafiq.
In other words, Barack was willing to sacrifice his mother and his grandparents on the alter of black nationalism. His sentiments were in lime with those of Rafiq, the Nation of Islam activist. That is the reason he chose a black nationalist church run by Reverend Wright who explained to him (p.284):
Lifes not safe for a black man in this country, Barack. Never has been. Probably never will be.
Sorry, guys, but there is nothing post racial about Barack. He has merely learned that it is advantageous to convince whites that he is.
Keep it up.
I believe this is all an act, and that this guy is the biggest fraud since Jayson Blair.
Yep, this guy is straight out of the Nation of Islam. An angry, hate-America, Marxist con man.
I hope you honkies can change your racist ways. See you at 11am Sunday.
Convert or die for an attitude while showing a smile on his face via conveyance.
Exactly. Politeness is an asset, no matter the color of one's skin. Seething racism and creepy politics under a "happy face" is another matter.
He’s dead Jim.
I have that book. It's by some guy who was a rapist/thief who became a respected leftist "journalist".
And if Hillary snags the election, blacks will stay home or vote McCain.
If Obama wins, many Latinos, Jews and those that don't in general like to hear God D America will not vote for him.
Democrats are dealing with self destruction over race here.
Great observations.
Maybe it's that early muzzl'em training.
what slime
I have always feared him more than Hillary
Interesting Phil, even with the stairs showing he seems to be floating in air!
.
Good graphic Phil -
Soros in sloppy clothes on his left on the aisle
A very stage-managed production
Obama has said numerous times to his campaign rallys:
“A light will shine down on you and it will make you vote for me!”
-
Few have now noticied yet how leftie ad firms and execs have slipped in a huge out of proportion percentage of pre-Obama clones on TV ads for big corporations - I wondered about this and a Greenwich ad exec admitted to me it is going on bigtime - starting a number of years ago
I grabbed some good vidcaps tonight on FNC
First one I`ll post is the other day when he (wink-wink) claimed “I never heard Wright say...”
Of course today Obama confessed that he has heard many of (allegedly former convert to Islam! You only hear “ex-Marine” No wonder Wright was unable to get a Baptist church anywhere to hire him!) Jerimiah Wright say all those things from his church pulpit
So Barack Hussein Obama Junior! starts off with his blantant lies and “do-overs” even before the DNC Convention!
In a blind comic defence of this I watched a parade of Obama*s groupies on TV say:
“It*s a political campaign - and Obama MUST GET ELECTED to make CHANGES! Obama MUST BE ELECTED PRESIDENT”
-
8% - pro-Wright (poll) blacks are 12% of US population now
Tonight on FNC I heard a young hispanic college student at TCU say “Nobody believes Obama now about Wright!”
I am going to have to give his mother more credit than I previously had. In her own words she was a "fellow traveler," IOWs a leftist, a communist. But here he is describing how she taught him about personal responsibility. It is an aspect of cause and effect. What Barack calls "subtle distinctions" is in essence that every person is responsible for their own actions and not for the actions of others.
And yet perhaps it was a framework that blacks in this country could no longer afford; perhaps it weakened black resolve, encouraged confusion within the ranks.
But he rejects that sound principle, his mothers guidance, in exchange for personal identification with a group he found more appealing than his mother.
Desperate times called for desperate measures, and for many blacks, times were chronically desperate.
Having rejected the principle of personal responsibility he could now allow in his mind the idea that all blacks should be free from that and justified in placing the blame on all whites. He no longer suffered from the yoke of his own actions thanks to the view his new friends gave him.
If nationalism could create a strong and effective insularity, deliver on its promise of self respect,...
Insularity from responsibility and respect derived from a group indentity. He was finally free to act on the visions of self-grandeur his mother had instilled in him early on and he had found a source of inspiration.
... then the hurt it might cause well-meaning whites, of the inner turmoil it caused people like me, would be of little consequence.
The end justifies the means. He convinces himself of his rightness.
He is building a case, not for himself, but for a cause. For a culture of victimhood. It is the underpinning of all modern liberalism drawn from the essence of Marxist philosophy. It has the hallmark of a nationalist identity based on class distinctions defined by victim vs oppressor statuses. He didn't know it then I expect, this was just his way of dealing with his incongruous upbrining, but that was the root of his present day philosophy which is often enunciated as "our national identity" these days. Of course you won't be part of "our national identity" if you don't follow Barack Obama. How could you? he is defining that.
I'm sure he truly isn't interested in Jeremiah Wright's tired old black separatism. Obama is working on something much bigger than that. He does want to include white people. And brown and yellow and red and anyone else who wants to share in his vision. He wants us all to be a part of his hope for change, of his new nationalism.
It is much more than merely American nationalsim too as the idea of national boundaries is as old and tired as Pastor Wright's myopic vision of identity politics. First things first of course. He needs to win over America first by securing the Presidency. But one need only share his vision of hope and change to be a part of Barack Obama's view of a "new day in politics" which is global in scope and Marxist in design.
He is Karl Marx' messiah. The fulfillment in flesh of the old communist prophet's dream of a worker's paradise where "you are your dream."

Obamassiah has come!
He looks like he’s casting his grace upon us, before ascending into heaven.
Great pic, Phil !!
There’s a “YouTube” of that event. I don’t have the link. It’s worth seeing. Maybe someone else can provide a link.
