These rogue sea lions would have been killed off and driven off years ago. They are pests and nothing more. They are no where near endangered

We have been putting up with this behavior for over 2-3 decades.

Sea lions and seals have been trying to eat the salmon we hook off the west coats for decades. When I first moved out here, a few well placed shots from a pistol worked.

Then that became a no no and the boat captains resorted to cherry bombs.

Then that became a no no, and that was when I basically gave up salmon fishing from a boat.

Since then certain shore fishing areas have become all you can eat buffets for seals for sea perch and halibut.
