The Vets for Freedom Heroes Tour will be in Columbia SC THIS Thursday, April 3rd at 11:30 am. There will be a rally at the Statehouse Capitol Steps located at 1200 Gervais Street. (Intersection of Gervais and Main St) Please come down and show your support for our troops and their just mission!!
Many of Americas most decorated war heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan have packed their bags and are hitting the road on a national bus tour to take their non-partisan message of progress and freedom from coast-to-coast.
The Vets for Freedom National Heroes Tour is about supporting our troops, honoring their commitment, and rallying the country to complete the missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
At this critical juncture in our country, we need Americans, lawmakers and the media, to fully recognizeand appreciatethe sacrifice of our brave military and the dramatic success they have achieved, especially in Iraq with the new counterinsurgency strategy.
Use the chart below to see when Americas heroes will roll through your town, and be sure to visit the site periodically for new tour information.
We hope to see you along the waycome out, meet some American heroes and support our troops!

Hope you get there, deb! If not, there’s always
Saturday, April 5 in Fayetteville, NC
(I don’t know why these things never go thru J’ville!)
please ping me about the NY visit...
Ping!
thanks, bfl
I attended the Rally in Des Moines on Wednesday.
PLEASE. Make every attempt to go. The news media is not doing a good job of letting people know these rallys are occuring. If word ever gets out, the crowds will be much larger than they currently are.
Yet another show of strength for those that serve with honor and valor and commitment. Hope it goes super well.
Bump!

You can also find stop information if you go to www.vetsforfreedom.org and click on the top at “heroes tour” then on the left hand of the screen at tour stops. Scroll down to the date of your state’s visit for info.
We just hosted them at my American Legion post in St Louis, this morning!
Let me tell you, do not miss this! Do what ever you must to be there and hear these inspiring men. Seriously, it was a real “hem of his garment” moment for me and I don’t impress that easily.
and for anyone interested, their super duper “mobile headquarters” tour bus, used to say Fred Thompson for President on the side of it.....one of several moments that almost had me crying today.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find out where they were going to be when they came through Los Angeles.
We are protesting “Stop Loss” in Woodland Hills on Saturday night. Let me know if you want info.
