Washington, DC -- A new annual report from Planned Parenthood shows the nation's largest abortion business has made over $1 billion in profit for the first time in its history. The non-profit pro-abortion group shows the historical gain in its new annual report covering 2006-2007.
The report shows an increase in the number of provided abortions from 264,943 in 2005 to 289,650 in 2006.

Revoke their tax exempt status.
I think congress should investigate BIG ABORTION and tax their whirlwind profits.
Ban them as a criminal organisation, arrest and convict their leaders and confiscate their assets. Treat them like we treated their brothers in soul, the Nazis after WW2.
The why in the world are they given tax-payer funded subsidies as though they were a non-profit?
Some deep pockets! Perhaps we need some class action wrongful death suits on behalf of the estates of the dead infants?
Oh, fer cryin’ out loud - and to think they STILL get 300 million a year from tax-payer funds. Now, I’m ashamed of my country.
I’m not keen on Planned Parenthood, of course, but the term “profit” seems to be completely inaccurate. It sounds to me that the real *profit* is described in THIS sentence:
“Planned Parenthood reveals it has doubled “excess of revenue over expenses” funds from $55.7 million in 2005 to $112 million in 2006.”
An excess of revenue over expenses is technically a profit.
The $1 billion figure sounds like REVENUES which makes this article laughably inaccurate and ignorant. That does NOT help the cause.
That’s $3,500 net profit per dead baby unit.
They are no doubt very proud they have been able to convince foolish people they are providing a service (albeit a horrible one), when in fact they have been able to turn murder into a profitable business.
