Take a gander. A lot of the bills have to do with healthcare. Links are tallied by assembly.
Illinois: 90th General Assembly
Illinois: 91st General Assembly
Illinois: 92nd General Assembly
Oh, and while we're at it, anyone know if we can find a roll call for votes in the Illinois Senate?
Welfare employment plan? Someone cue the bumper sticker that says:
Ping to the Obama list.
That’s a house bill. Obama was in the Senate. His sponsored bills have his name beside him.
Islamic community day...why does that not surprise me.
Bumper Sticker:
Vote for Obama—
He sponsored Islamic Community Day..
Boy, that is a sure vote getter—for anyone else.
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to
prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that
seemed delightfully uncalculated [...], Mr. Obama described the
call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at
sunset."

(AP) Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may have a lot of explaining to do. He voted against requiring medical care for aborted fetuses who survive. He supported allowing retired police officers to carry concealed weapons, but opposed allowing people to use banned handguns to defend against intruders in their homes. And the list of sensitive topics goes on.
With only a slim, two-year record in the U.S. Senate, Obama doesn't have many controversial congressional votes which political opponents can frame into attack ads. But his eight years as an Illinois state senator are sprinkled with potentially explosive land mines, such as his abortion and gun control votes. . . .
Obama maybe far left, but he is to the right of Illinois Senate President Emil Jones.
