I heard tapes of this teacher on LA Radio station ranting on, he makes Rev Wright seem passive.

Where do you find the largest population of Jews in the USA? New York City. Where do you find the most restaurants that serve pork in the USA? NEW YORK CITY! ...and those that can't teach are morons.

Farnan recorded his teacher telling students in class: What country has the highest murder rate? The South! What part of the country has the highest rape rate? The South! What part of the country has the highest rate of church attendance? The South! What an intellectual specimen. With minds like this informing our kids no wonder the US educational system compares so favorably with other countries.
We can rest easy, our future is assured.

What part of the country has the highest rate of church attendance? The South! What a slacker. He could have pinned global warming on the Christians too. After all, what part of the country has the hottest weather? The South!

The teacher is either stupid or a liar. I suspect the latter. Any student of logic would immediately recongize his comment for what it is, a deliberate attempt to mislead by using false analogy.

I’m pretty good at geography.
Exactly what country is “The South”?
The teacher should be sued for gross stupidity.

This is one time when I actually applaud the use of the liberal’s dehumanizing “sensitivity training” classes, that requires participants to submit to the preachy and unenlightened moralizing of a smarmy, over-employed social services eunuch.
It is the rare person who can pass through such an experience without imagining savaging the instructor with a claw hammer.

I think you find them in your Bible or at your local traditionally minded church.

It was very hard for me because its like basically telling me all this stuff that Ive believed my whole entire life its just basically trying to throw it out the window, Farnan told FOX News."
Welcome to public school. Those with sense, reason, and knowledge of facts need not apply.

Did the South rise again and become the CSA while I was in the shower?
To: exit82
That is interesting, what “south”? Crime rates in the “south” that I live in are a lot lower than most of the “north” country. see, Detroit.
To: southernerwithanattitude
Unfortunately, the best predictor of crime rates is the proportion of the population that is black. But the teacher would never, never, never go there.

What religion regularly practices decapitation of those deemed infidels?
'Nuff said.

As another poster said recently, public education should be like public housing- a choice of last resort.

Disagree. Instead of ceding this territory, it’s time to take back our schools and make them bastions of learning instead of indoctrination.
This man was the single opinion heard in his classroom for so long that he thought that his was the only one. He just learned his mistake.

I’m generally not a big fan of lawsuits but I think it’s disgusting how teachers can take minds full of mush and indoctrinate them in their favorite theory. This is hate speech as much as anything else. Imagine if he had been talking about blacks this way!
To: tennteacher
It’s a lot more than just this one. I went through the TN Stalinist indoctrination system. Facts and truth took a back seat to propaganda and lies.
