ABSOLUT IDIOCY: RECONQUISTA VODKA (Michele Malkin on invaders' plotting against America)
NY POST ^ | April 10, 2008 | MICHELE MALKIN

Posted on 04/10/2008 4:51:41 AM PDT by Liz

.....my e-mailbox lit up with messages about a new Absolut ad catering to Mexicans who believe the American Southwest belongs to them. (That extreme ethno-supremacist idea is not news to anyone who has paid attention to the massive illegal-alien marches where "This is our continent, not yours" has been a rallying mainstay.) Favio Ucedo, creative director of leading US Latino ad agency Grupo Gallegos, (not involved in the Absolut campaign), explained the reconquista-endorsing ad: "Mexicans talk about how the Americans stole their land, so this is their way of reclaiming it. It's very relevant and the Mexicans will love the idea."

Oops. Guess he didn't get the liberal talking-points manual: You're supposed to deny reconquista exists and label anyone who criticizes it as a delusional racist. The National Council of La Raza claims that reconquista is just a "code word" invented by "hate groups" who are dreaming the whole thing up.

Absolut's initial response to complaints was to hang up on consumers who phoned and to delete their e-mail. For its part, the open-borders Associated Press attempted to minimize Americans' widespread opposition to the Absolut ad and persisted in labeling reconquista views "fringe." I direct them to the speech given two weeks ago by Hillary Clinton campaign co-chair Dolores Huerta, who railed, "We didn't cross the border, the border crossed us" and gloated that immigration enforcement is moot because the reconquista is won. "It's really too late," Huerta said. "If 47 million [Latinos] have one baby each . . . it's already won."

Here is another example of what Globalism produces, as soon as ideas such as Nationalism, and Patriotism are discarded in favor of a larger “Global” concept, borders no longer matter.

That and the US Chamber of Commerce is utterly in the illegal alien camp, they buy senators the way ordinary Americans buy loaves of bread.

“California they can HAVE and they are welcome to it.”

-

Land for peace.

Great idea. Let’s give America away. One state at a time. Neville Chamberlain for a new era.

Let’s give away our country. Let’s give away our jobs. Let’s give away our factories.

Let’s just give everything away!

Then everyone will know how “nice” we are.

That will keep America strong.

/s

“The U.S. border state leading the battle against illegal immigration with unprecedented tough laws has received complaints from Mexico’s government that too many Mexicans have been repatriated and the country is overwhelmed with demands for housing, jobs and schools.”

YOU HAVE GO TO BE KIDDING!

And that is our problem how?

California is NOT the US.

In the Gore Bush election ALL 54 electoral votes went to Gore. What's that tell you? Any debate going on out there about America? NOT!!!

Sellers remorse for Mexico, I guess.
They sold the land.
The USA paid for it.
Escrow closed.
Done Deal.
Take your crying somewhere else.

Just wait-——the open borders crowd in Congress will be handing over our tax dollars to (gag) repatriate these invaders (who are already pocketing numerous US govt benefits under multiple names).

“Huerta gloated: “If 47 million [Latinos] have one baby each.......it’s already won.”

Huerta better watch her mouth----colluding with the invaders to undermine the US government can generate B-I-G trouble.

This nitwit mamsita should realize Americans do not take kindly to people who come here under false pretenses.

Unlike the corrupt hellhole she lives in....the US has laws against undermining the US government.

The invaders say "I come here for a better life " translates into "I come here to loot and pillage the US for mother Mexico."

QUESTION: Just who is getting a cut of the $50 billion in US govt benefits (and drug proceeds?), laundered through Western Union, the lettuce pickers send back to Mehico?

I recieved the following reply in response to my complaints to Absolut:

Thank you for your email.

We appreciate that you contact us to share your opinion. At ABSOLUT we are used to active reactions to our advertising, and we want our consumers to share their opinion - positive or negative. We have a policy to always reply to all emails individually, but due to the large amount of emails concerning the In an ABSOLUT World Mexico ad, we are unfortunately not able to answer all emails individually at this moment.

We acknowledge the reactions and debate and want to apologize for the concerns this ad caused. We are truly sorry and understand that the ad has offended many persons. This was not our intention.

The ad has been withdrawn as of Friday April 4th and will not be used in the future.

In no way was the ad meant to offend or disparage, or advocate an al! tering of borders, lend support to any anti-American sentiment, or to reflect immigration issues.

To ensure that we avoid future similar mistakes, we are adjusting our internal advertising approval process for ads that are developed in local markets.

Again, we are very sorry that we cannot reply to your email, if you want to continue the discussion and share your opinion with us and others, please go to our blog www.absolut.com/iaaw/blog

Our sincere apologies,

Who’d have thought we’d come to the day when an American drinking Stolichnaya is more patriotic than an American drinking Absolut?

“We defeated amnesty everytime it came up in the Senate, more and more states are enacting tough anti-illegal laws.......but “We have not yet begun to fight”

McCain was rambling on the other day about how ‘anti-immigration’ candidates always lose. He lied, of course, or he’s just stupid, but he did ignore the fact that those illegal immigration control state laws seem to pass every time!
