McCain says he is the candidate of hope TRIBUNE-REVIEW By Salena Zito
Full text of interview with Sen. John McCain and reporter Salena Zito:
You have been around a lot of small towns in Pennsylvania and the country, Sen. Barack Obama's remarks seem to have had an effect in Western Pennsylvania. What are your thoughts about the regular folk that Sen. Obama referred to in his remarks?
I cannot understand why Sen. Obama would have ever believed that the small towns in Pennsylvania and across America are anything but patriotic, dedicated, hard working people whose fundamental values have nothing to do with the economy, it has everything to do with their belief and strength and service to America.
He could not be further wrong. (His statements) show an incredibly out of touch person and he should apologize.

He is the Candidate of Hope next to the “Dope” and the “Mope”.
He makes me want to throw up! How in Hades did this moron get more than ten votes?
Gag me with a spoon.
You mean Hopey, Dopey and Mopey? Curley, Larry and Moe they’re not! Although, they are stooges.
“McCain says he is the candidate of hope”
My illegal alien neighbors agree.
He’s right. I hope he never sees office.
mcCain is partially a product of open primaries which are insane. it’s nuts for rats and indies to be any factor at all in deciding a republican nominee for president.
I think that he meant hopelessness.
He chose to get right in the gutter, could have just pointed out the obvious flaws, but noooo.... can't we face the real issues that face our future. What an ass Everday I think I can (barf) vote for this guy.... e speaks... man this election really sucks.
Sorry about the typos. Just aaaaaaarrrrrrrghghghghghghg
They should look in the damned mirror. If they can't create hope for themselves, then they are doomed.
Is one of them named Esperanza?
If ole John keeps the tenor of hope, change and American superiority as well as a defense of Western Civ, ala the Judeo-Christian worldview as the Prez and the Pope did today in a WH mt., he might just get Americans to believe in America again.
