Last Friday in this column I reported on a brewing scandal that would be front-page news on the New York Times if the developments had concerned anyone other than their hero:

Instead, the new media was left to pick up and disseminate how one of Barack Obama's
presidential campaign bundlers is Jodie Evans – a political ally to Venezuelan dictator, Hugo Chavez, and an advocate for Islamic militants.
The story was also a yawner for ABC News "journalist" George Stephanopolous, because he didn't see fit to ask a single question about the deep political and personal ties between Jodie Evans and Sen. Barack Obama during the Philadelphia Democratic presidential debate.

But, as we say in the media, this story has legs, and they are growing.
There are new details coming to light of the transgressions made by Obama's campaign bundler and an even closer relationship between Ms. Evans and the candidate himself than what we knew last week.
Helping fuel this fire has been the continuous research by Washington, D.C., conservative citizen, Kristinn Taylor, who has been digging into Ms. Evan's ties to Obama's campaign for the past few months.

I was talking with a guy at work today about the upcoming election. A younger guy in his early twenties. He went on praising Obama and how he is going to vote for him. I then went on to mention the radical company that this guy keeps (Wright, Code Pink and others) and it might as well have gone in one ear and out the other.
This is the scary thing. These Obama lovers don’t care if he gets support or money from American-hating, terrorist-loving, racist, marxist groups. To them, this man walks on water. He can do no wrong. This is going to be trouble for McCain.
Obama can come right out and say that he worships Satan and sacrifices children and these idiot Obama worshipers will still vote for him.
This guy is like teflon. Nothing hurts him.

Could you elaborate? Just curious.
I have believed for some time the truth about what WMD we found in Iraq, and what was shipped off to terrorists and their supporters, will be revealed just before the election. Like everyone else, I have wondered why the Bush administration has not defended our going into Iraq. Once this is revealed I think even most avid Bush haters/U.S. bashers will be scared, therefore won’t elect someone who wants to surrender in the WOT.

I disagree that Jodie Evans has become the new Jeremiah Wright because the MSM hasn't latched onto her and exposed her radical past. Evans hasn't hurt Obama's poll numbers yet, like Wright has. Until the MSM wakes up to Jodie Evans, IF they wake up, she's safely off the Obama poll meter. Where's Sean Hannity when you need him? :)
It makes no sense to me that Clinton hasn't exposed Obama as the radical he is. All the Democrats I know who I've told about his ties to radical leftist groups seem genuinely surprised and appalled. One friend even called her son and handed me the phone for me to tell him about Obama's "friends".
I'd wondered if the Marine OSO (Officer Selection Office) was still under fire. The Bay Area newspapers have been quiet about the protests at the Marine Office lately.

USMC Brat: It’s hard for the MSM to justify the time unless something new has happened. That’s why the war hasn’t gotten much coverage “Once again, things are slightly better than yesterday, but that’s about it.” But people who follow a story like this sure seem to appreciate the occasional update, and that’s part of what motivates me to head into Berkeley periodically.
