SAN ANGELO, Texas – The first of more than 400 children taken from a polygamist compound boarded buses Tuesday bound for 16 emergency shelters, children's homes and foster care agencies throughout the state, including two in North Texas.
As the buses rolled out, the children eagerly waved and smiled at television cameras. Lawyers inside the San Angelo Coliseum who were meeting with their adult or child clients said authorities allowed no one in or out while the children, 114 of them by day's end, were loaded onto the buses.

So, you know every emotion, history, and soul of these children?
I knew kids from the house next to me who would smile at me and wave.
We later learned their father was so abusive he would take their little hands and hold them under hot water as punishment. He was later arrested.
A greater argument can logically be made that after 2+ weeks out of that abusive atmosphere, the children are on the road to being children again.
Obviously not, but kids who are pining away to return to cult-land
generally do not smile and wave when transported farther away from it.
And around 10 pregnant girls – including a 14-year-old – will go to a group home in San Antonio.
Isn't there a curious soul thinking about the cash flow?

When the story first broke, we were lied to and continue to be lied to. But the way the authorities are handling this is horrible beyond belief! Why didn’t they round up all the MEN?! Is this America?!
To be fair, they should go into all the ghettos and hell holes in America and take the babies away from all moms under the age of 17 - and they are legion - arrest all the teenage moms in America and let the older men who impregnated them go scott free.
This is so disgusting! And the “abused girl” who started it all is a 33 year old nut job who is known for filing false reports. What has happened to my America? These people are using the Constitution for toilet paper.
Planned Parenthood aborts the evidence of older men getting teenage girls pregnant and society turns a blind eye and deaf ear.
It is evil evil evil to take these children away from their mothers. What on earth is happening here? They were going to take the nursing babies from their mothers until someone filed a restraining order. For God’s sake!! Then that creepy evil judge decided to only take the babies who are 12 months and older away from nursing mothers. Some babies nurse until they are 15 months or two years old.
These children are going to be destroyed. Some will be abused and ruined in creepy foster homes.
This is monstrous! The men at the ranch volunteered to all leave if they would let the women and children return. But oh, no, the state has to show its muscle.
This is sick and evil.
