It’s now time to erase Hillary. Do what you can to pump up Obama’s delegate count from here on out.
Hillary nominated will not be selecting anyone but a black man or woman for VP. Obama will select a woman (enraging Hillary into working against him quietly).
Obama is the optimal nominee for the GOP because he is farthest from the center. Do what you can to get him nominated.

Hillary could move slightly to the right and match McCain, who has moved decidedly to the left in the past eight years. Actually, McCain has done more damage to the conservative cause than Hillary. If she moves to the right on taxes and slightly on homeland security, the only difference will be abortion and Iraq.

Who can believe ANYTHING Hillary says about what she is “going to do” when she can’t tell the truth if it hits her in the face?

Hard to pick the most inane sentence in this essay of inanities but perhaps it is ...
“Senator Dorgan is adored by conservatives all over the country (in large part because he voted against Amnesty) and is one of the sharpest minds in the Senate, if not in all of Congress”.

If She-Bubba gets the nomination there will be riots in the streets, and the Dims know it. The Dims created identity politics and they are now stuck with it. And there is one thing Dims fear above almost all else: Being called racist. The Dim superdelegates will make sure the Magic Mulatto gets the nomination, if for no other reason than to escape the label of racist.

McCain/Clinton? Why not?For starters, because John McCain wants to live past January 21st, 2009.

Sadly, and reluctantly, I agree with you.

We should all feel sorry for levotb. I’m sure s/he is very embarrassed now. S/he spent a lot of time preparing this screed, even removing certain paragraph breaks.
And, finally, when the big moment arrives s/he discovers, to her/his horror that s/he posted this on FR instead of DU.
I base 95% of this opinion on the fact that h/she is a “post and run and hide” type of person.

Anyone who thinks Hillary Rodham has swum through sh*t for 30 years in order to give up her Marxism and abandon her lesbian fascist inner circle at THIS point is delusional.
Shes almost got her hands on the prize. The Long March for Hillary and the small army of communists who have followed her and sustained her since 1969 is almost over.
It is a fantasy that she will change, now. You should have supported Obama when you had the chance.
Worth bumping/repeating.

Well, take heart, if KAOS winds up giving the Clintons the keys to the WH again, there’s going to be one.

“Hillary has shown she can now be the “moderate” Dem and even a populist.”
That’s not saying much as every other Senator is a moderate compared to Barack Obama.
Also, Hillary has not won every big state, she did not win Michigan or Florida and she won the popular vote but lost in delegates to Texas.
I want Obama to drive a stake into her and end the Clinton era of politics in the US.

Obama's fall and McCain's unpopularity with conservatives shows the country does not want a liberal (McCain) or a Socialist (Obama) for President. So they should pick a liberal socialist like Her Thighness? Although I think of B. Hussein as a "Soviet Socialist" sort of guy, and Hillary as more of a "National Socialist" type.

Liberal / conservative politics aside, I wont vote to make our Armed Forces answerable to either Clinton or Obama as a Commander in Chief.Which is the paramount reason to vote for McCain despite all the vitriol spewed at him on this site and considering the fact that two of the most dangerous, marxist, anti-war candidates in U.S. history are battling for the Dim nomination. Are we forgetting the soldiers, FReepers?

Shuler seems to have his head on straight. If the Dims had any brains theyd throw Barry and Hillary under the bus and nominate Shuler. Id probably vote for him over McCain. Ping.

Shuler seems to have his head on straight. If the Dims had any brains theyd throw Barry and Hillary under the bus and nominate Shuler. Id probably vote for him over McCain.
Shuler is only "conservative" as long as it gets him re-elected. He will take the inevitable shift to the left if he becomes a safe incumbent down the line, and he already votes with Pelosi 75% of the time. He's conservative in exactly the areas that he has to be to get elected in western Carolina, and not one area more. (And whatever the case, he's chosen to be an enabler of his party's liberal agenda by simply casting his vote for Pelosi, which is probably the most important thing he's achieved.)
I happened to post some comments about this a few hours ago along with
an article from the Weekly Standard on the Blue Dogs fetching for Pelosi.
If Shuler survives this year, I suspect he'll be groomed to challenge Richard Burr in 2010. If he keeps up this 'conservative' illusion he has going, he could pull it off.
Also, a correction for levotb: Shuler won 75% in the Democratic primary; he got 54% in the general election. He's not the shoo-in for re-election that a lot of people make him out to be.
