Some Mormon women dance...
Some Mormon women write scary stories...
Some Mormon women have a lot of money and really great hair...
I know hundreds of Mormon women. They do all kinds of different things and live all different kinds of lives.
This woman served as a leader in the Mormon church. She recently spoke to teenage girls worldwide. She encouraged them to stand up to peer pressure, strengthen their families and serve others. (Click here for more.)
None of the Mormon women I know look like this...
None of them are marrying off their teenage daughters and-- although some may joke about wanting a sister-wife (preferably one who is really fat & ugly, does bathrooms and changes diapers)--none of them really want to share their husband with anyone.
Some Mormon guys yell at the ball...
Some Mormon guys make scary movies...
Some Mormon guys have a lot of money and really great hair...

This is one of the leaders of the Mormon church. Last Sunday he spoke about honoring women, especially mothers, and gave advice to husbands and children about how to treat the women in their lives. (For the whole story, click here.)
None of the Mormon men I know look like this...
The Mormon men I know are honest and hard-working. They don't cheat, smoke, drink or gamble. And TRUST ME....the last thing any of them want is another wife.
Carnal desires are part of our sinful nature. When we get to Heaven, that is removed.
My wife will no longer be in submission to me.
I think you have that one backwards.
Warren Jeffs and Brigham Young have a lot in common. Indeed, you might say that the fLDS is the mirror image of the LDS Church as it was founded by Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, and the current LDS Church bears little resemblance to the original LDS Church.
Well, we disagree over the meaning here. I think that it may be that you are looking at the scriptures through the lens of doctrine instead of the plain meaning of the words. I tend not to go to ancient authority to “interpret” scripture, but to read it as it is. That was my downfall as a Baptist and why I left them behind almost forty years ago.
I’m tacking this link on to this post for Ya’ll’s information.
Forbes just ranked Salt Lake City as one of the most sinful cities in American.
Listed in the top 10 for Envy, Lust and Pride. HAHAHahaha.

Imagine that.....
I can see that.....I know a few extremely ‘sinful’ types and their friends who live there.
And some of you were asking me about hateful statements. Tsk tsk.
When Wikipedia is used as a source by non-mormons on these threads, it is discounted by the mormons because “anyone can edit it”. Therefore, would you please provide links for your version of Smith’s death from sources that cannot be edited by those with an agenda? Thanks.
What's that mormon saying, "the people are not perfect, the church is"?...something along those lines.
On my way out of the church many years ago, I finally had to ask myself, "What are the fruits of this "perfect" church? Where are they??" In reading your posts, I wonder if you are in a clone of the ward I left. Except it took about ten years before one single member sent a message through my daughter that he was heartily sorry for the way he had treated me.
I left the church after much study and prayer provided a testimony that it is not the true church, and the shunning came afterwords, but of course, in the eyes of "faithful" I left for the reasons quoted by new President Monson...I wanted to sin, I was offended, etc.
According to the E-Danites, I am lying about receiving a testimony from the Holy Spirit regarding it, told that THEIR testimony is better than my testimony in other words. I guess this is the perfect fruit. I find it unpalatable.
Hmmmm after today I am not going to imagine anything..seeing was bad enough! Shaking my head.
So when did telling the truth become hateful?
I have enjoyed listening to Mormons whine for months!
That's the Mormon Babblenackle Choir.
I have been on the road and have a hard time answering Utah Girl’s distorted history from where I am. I will data dump over the weekend. One of the best accounts is Gov. Ford’s, he tried to save Smith, but it wasn’t like Smith wasn’t inciting a revolution that would ave killed thousands.
There are two sides to the story, Utah Girl gave the gilded one.
I believe it happens everyday.....
Am I wrong?
Which most of us can see through in a heartbeat.
I have also read that Utah ranks #1 in the nation for depression and also bankruptcy. It is also the only state that allows the continuing payment of tithing (10% of GROSS they tell you...Not God’s fault the covernment taxes you, they say.) during the bankruptcy process.
Every word is a lie.
Soon he will be looking like George Clooney! ;-D
