Do you really need a link to show he was a member of the gang of 14? That is common knowledge. Or a link proving he cosponsored McCain Fiengold? Do you not remember when he teamed up with his buddy tubby Teddy to push for amnesty for illegals? Did you forget about how hard he tried to raise the gas tax by $.50 a gallon? Maybe you forgot but I remember him voting against the tax cut that improved our economy.
I also remember him being a member of the Keating 5. In his own book he admits giving the Cong classified information that put many in uniform in greater danger than they were already in, just to get preferential treatment.
Anybody who knows John McCain knows he is not qualified to serve as POTUS.

You are being disingenuous because you are a McCain hater. He voted against the tax cuts because he believed there should have been corresponding cuts in spending. I was 100% in favor of the tax cuts but cannot blame him for standing on this principle. My take is that if it was HIS vote that would decide yea or nay on the tax cuts he would have voted for them. I also disagreed with his campaign spending legislation but understood where it was coming from. As for his breaking under torture while being held prisoner, you actually seem to believe that there are some among us that wouldn't ever break. It shows your complete and utter ignorance in this area. No one, and I mean NO ONE can withstand real torture for any length of time without giving up all he knows. The fact McCain, even after being tortured gave up the names of the Green Bay packers linemen instead of his squad members and the fact we have the word of a Medal of Honor winner speaking to the honor and courage of this man speaks volumes.

Just be like the rest of the lunatics who will stay home because their candidate didn't get the nomination. Better yet why not just vote for the liberal in the general election. WOWEE, that'll sure show the GOP won't it?

I'm STILL waiting for the links to the sources that will FULLY explain your list of grievances with McCain. Perhaps they will not leave out why he did what he did, like you have done.

Well, here's a lie (or perhaps only a half-truth) right here:

In his own book he admits giving the Cong classified information that put many in uniform in greater danger than they were already in, just to get preferential treatment.

I haven't read the whole book, but as I recall the only "preferential treatment" he ever acquired with information was medical treatment when he first was captured. This was treatement without which he would have died. And let's not forget that THEY WERE REQUIRED TO GIVE HIM TREATMENT BY INTERNATIONAL LAW AND USED IT AS LEVERAGE INSTEAD. And what did he give them? The name of his squadron, which they almost certainly knew anyway. Then he gave them the front line of the Green Bay Packers when they asked for pilots' names, and he continued to lie to them whenever he was interrogated.

I would also note that most people broke under torture in the Hilton. There's a reason the definitive book about it is called "When Hell Was In Session."

BTW, look up the Keating Five on wikipedia and ask yourself if McCain's actions even approach the least disgusting Clinton scandal. More importantly, Robert S. Bennett, the special investigator, recommended that McCain be cleared, and says he is certain the ethics committee only went after McCain to avoid having only Democrats involved in the scandal.
