How do I subscribe to a Forum/Topic?
I have several Forum/Topics that show up on my sidebar, which I can rearrange off the Configure Sidebar link.
But I'll be danged if I can figure out how to add any more Topics to this list. I just realized that there is a "tech-news" Topic/Forum that seems to overlap with the "computers-chat" Topic/Forum, and I'd like to add it to my sidebar. But I can't figure out how to do that.
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: forum; subscribe; topic
The multiple, context sensitive, inconsistent naming of Forums and Topics, and scarcity of interface clues, is a pain. I hope John R has some more plans here.

Under "Browse by Forum", click on the "Topic" link next to the forum (General/Chat?) where your topic is located. On that page click on the topic you're interested in subscribing to. That brings up a list of threads posted to that topic. At the bottom of the list of threads (on the right) there is "Add to my page". Clicking that will add it to your page. You can then adjust where you want it located on the page. Scroll down and hit Modify and it's added to your page.
If this made any sense then I'm not as tired as I thought I was. :)

Bless you - thank-you!
I had gotten as far as that page with the list of threads, but was looking near the top for a button to push to "Add" that topic-forum, not near the bottom of that page.
You are wide awake and making perfect sense ;).

Wow. You are way ahead of me with all this fancy-schmancy stuff. I managed to figure out how to get my “favorite places” FR bookmark to bring me to the “Latest Comments - Headers” page which (I presume) shows me all the most recent posts in reverse chronological order, and I’m happy as a clam.

Well I’ll be darned. I never knew this. Thanks
