Mayor Heather Fargo on Wednesday declared today "International Workers Day in the City of Sacramento."
She issued the declaration in response to Latino immigrant and labor rights activists who plan a rally at 11 a.m. today on the west steps of the Capitol. May 1 is Labor Day in many countries. Immigrants in various U.S. cities plan to rally for legal status for undocumented workers.
Activists who met with Fargo included members of the League of United Latin American Citizens, the AFL-CIO, the Longshoremen's Union and two Sacramento groups, Americans for Democracy in Mexico and the Chicano Consortium.
"The mayor of Sacramento declares that no human being is illegal and looks forward to the day when people of the world are not divided by borders," the proclamation states.

QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.
Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:
"Notwithstanding any other provision of federal, state, or local law, a federal, state, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."
Saw on Fox this AM that the Census Bureau has just released the number of Latinos living in the USA...45.5 million.
So I think Mayor Fargo will soon have quite an influx into her city. Sacramento and San Francisco seem to be in the vanguard of the Reconquista movement to have CA revert to Mexico. Sounds like a good idea to the rest of us.
I would expect nothing less from Marxist northern California.
“International Workers Day...”
Is that anything like International Workers Paradise Day?
Sorry I can’t celebrate Labor Day - I have to work to pay taxes.
Heather Fargo is in a tough race for re-election. Kevin Johnson, the former Suns point guard, could well win the election.
The rat invites criminal invaders from south of the boarder in to take the jobs Americans want to do, but can’t because they are being cheated out of them, then cries wet tears while pointing to the latest unemployment figures.
The rat is after all a very loathsome creature.
Los Angeles, San Franscisco, Sacramento..............one by one, falling to a wave of illegal activity; not just turning their heads, but being complicit and supporting it.
