Put here at the top of the ticket with McCain in the role of Cheney, the gravitas giver.

Malkin isn’t considered a “true minority” for a couple of reasons.
First, she’s a conservative.
Second, she’s Asian, not a true minority, because Asians succeed at higher rates than the general population instead of at lower rates.

As we found with Clarence Thomas, Miguel Estrada and Condoleeza Rice, race, sex and ethnicity are all quite meaningless when you’re a Republican/conservative.

I think you can count on McCain not picking someone who has never held elective office.

McCain could trump them all by taking Michelle Malkin as VP.Why would Juan McCain want a running mate who was infinitely smarter, better looking and more conservative than he is?
This is more his speed:

Michele Malkin has very little regard for Senator McCain.
In other words, she does not like him one little bit.

I wish, but it’ll never happen. McCain is afraid of Malkin. Rightly so.

Ill be honest, I clicked the link from HotAir because I thought this was about Evgeni Malkin. He’s kind of a VP right now. If it wasn’t for that whole Russian thing, he’d be money.

She is the ONE pick that would definitely get me to vote for McCain. As I have been saying as they bandy about different VP picks that would make McCain a little bit less distasteful:
"Not even if he picked ME to be his VP."
I'll be very surprised if he doesn't pick some noodle spined sycophant. Even a democrat. But more likely he'll pick another moderate liberal that PRETENDS to be a Republican.
McCain is a very courageous man... But not brave enough to pick Michelle Malkin. He'd be more likely to pick Michelle Obama.... She hates conservatives as much as he does.... Although even MO is too strongly outspoken for McCain too.... He can't stand to be around anyone that will stand up to him or point out his errors.
