Dan gets caught red-handed trying to influence a national election (for his Democrat buddies) by peddling forged documents on a "news" program.
Now, he tries to scribble a smiley face on his fetid reputation by...more LYING and DECEIT!
He will always and forever be Dan the Forger. And, there's no amount of lying (or even truth-telling) that can change that.
That is not exactly, Mark Cuban who is a genius(at least in his own mind) for judging talent gave Gunga Dan a job. Of course, one could argue that Cuban does not know anymore about judging broadcast talent than he does assessing basketball talent. Cuban did after all let Steve Nash walk in free agency only to earn two MVP's. Over rate the declining talent of Jason Kidd by giving away the store to get him and only to end up having to overpay him for a year and a half.
Also what Kenneth Dan still doesn't understand, (although CBS is figuring it out, finally), is that the ONE and ONLY asset that a news organization has is its 'credibility' .... once credibility is lost, then the news organization has NO asset anymore.

A newsperson has one thing going for them, credibility. If a newsperson loses that credibility they have nothing. Mr. Rather invents stories, Mr. Rather has NO credibility.

That's correct. Rather now has a program on one of my hd tv channels doing his usual miserable job. "Dan Rather Reports" or something like that. I buy an hd tv set with a limited number of channels, and what do I get? One of the channels features "documentaries" by one of the biggest liars in tv history.
