According a very poor analysis offered this week by the Politico, which was highlighted by Drudge for all of about half a hour before he realized how false it was and removed it,...

Allen West is a true military leader. Hes also a dedicated public servant who decided to spend a year teaching high school in the district before announcing his candidacy. Most importantly, he brings vast knowledge and well thought out solutions to key issues, ranging from small business development to healthcare and pragmatic solutions to the mortgage crisis and job creation. The fact that hes African-American just goes to show that the GOP is the party of people of all races who share in common sense.
What are Allen Wests chances of winning? At least 50-50. Hes not only extremely likeable and dynamic, but wherever he speaks hes met with rave reviews. Good post
I met him at this year’s CPAC, I was very impressed as well.
Condi had a clear shot before she was captured by the State department. She'd still get wide-spread support.
Republicans value competence. No, we cherish it! Any manager worth his or her salt thirsts for it in an employee. Sadly, competence is rare. An example: he's a fictional character, but a David Palmer-like candidate would win in a landslide. Competent, had values, honored those who stood between us and harm (Jack!). We simply liked the cut of Palmer's jib, to use a nautical term in honor of Teddy taking out the boat and Splash for a race this weekend. Watch out for the windmills, Swimmer!
Thanks for posting this Ooh-Ah. We’ve got to write the NRCC and demand they pay attention to FL-22. They’re playing a game of defense that’s designed to lose and are giving no attention to districts where we can really take it to the Dems.
